"I'm so excited!" Lisa gushed.

"Me too!" Rosé agreed, twirling around in her silver skirt. "And I love our outfits."

The girls and I were in our dressing room backstage at the Gocheok Sky Dome, preparing for the Melon Music Awards. Our hair and makeup were already done and Rosé, Lisa, and I had already finished getting dressed. We were taking pictures while we waited for Jennie and Jisoo-eonni. We needed to get dressed one by one since our stylists had to help us because our outfits had a lot of intricate details.

Jennie stepped out from behind the black curtain and struck a pose, and then burst out into giggles.

"Jennini you look stunning." I cooed. She ran up to me and held my hands, also looking at my outfit.

"Aww Galie, you're gorgeous too."

Jisoo-eonni, who had also finished getting dressed, rolled her eyes at us as she walked over to the couch, but there was a smile on her face.

"Why don't the two of you just get married already?" She joked. I winked at Jennie then got down on one knee, making the maknaes gasp. Lisa took out her phone and started taking a video.

I grabbed Jennie's hand, and she used the other to cover her mouth as she pretended to be surprised.

"Kim Jennie, will you marry me?" I asked. She dramatically put her hand on her forehead.

"I thought you'd never ask!"

Everyone burst out laughing when I slid one of the rings I was wearing as part of my outfit onto Jennie's finger, who pretended to wipe a tear as she showed it to Lisa's camera.

"I better be invited to this wedding." Our manager smiled as he entered our dressing room. "Good evening girls."

"Good evening manager." We greeted. He nodded as he showed us a sheet of paper.

"I just got the seating chart for the event. You will be sitting at the front." He said, his gaze flickering to me. "In front of BTS."

Everyone looked at me as they waited for my reaction. I felt a slight lump in my throat, but ignored it as I put a smile on my face.

"It's fine." I told them. "And it's been what, a year? I miss my friends. It's time for me to see them again."

Jisoo-eonni held my hand comfortingly as Rosé hugged me from the side.

"You're really gonna be okay?" She asked. I nodded in reply.

"I think so." I said. "I've got the best support system in the world."

We all laughed as we got into a group hug. I wasn't lying about anything that I said. I really felt that I was ready to see BTS, and if ever things don't go well, I knew that my girls will be there for me.

I quickly sent Jungkook a text, telling him that I was excited to see the boys again.

"BLACKPINK, it's time to go to your seats." One of the stage personnel said. We nodded, fixing ourselves one last time before following him.

We were led to the area in front of the stage where there were bleacher-type benches. The personnel pointed us to our seats before leaving. We bowed in thanks before walking to our spot.

Deep breaths Gale. Deep breaths.

BTS was already there, all of them looking dashing in their outfits. It was the first time I had seen them in months, aside from Jungkook, so I had almost forgotten how breathtaking they looked in person.

Almost.

I felt Lisa push me gently, and I realized that I had stopped walking. I shook my head, trying to get my thoughts in order as we approached the boys.
