Chapter 11 - Festival

I let out a breath, fixing my cloak in the mirror. 'Calm down Y/n...it's going to be fine...you're only going to the Festival with the guy you have a crush on...no big deal....right?'

I let out a small cry and slap both my cheeks. "Pull yourself together! All you have to do is not make a fool of yourself. Shouldn't be too hard"

My door swings open and I see Mimosa come in. "What are you doing?"

Her eyes widen when she sees what I'm wearing. "Why do you look like you're about to go on a mission?"

"Well it's a festival for the magic knights squads, we have to represent our squad."

"Yeah but that's what the cloak is for!" She groans, grabbing my wrist. "Come with me"

"Eh? Where are we going?"

"My room"

Mimosa yanks the door open and practically throws me on her bed. She rummages through her closet and hands me a blouse and skirt. "Bathroom is over there, go change"

Knowing I'm not going to be able to get her to leave me alone about this, I obey. She handed be a f/c tight long sleeve with a black mini skirt. After changing I walk out and she smiles when seeing me.

"That's better. Here" She hands me boots that go up to my thighs and I sigh

"Don't you think this is a bit much?"

"Not in the slightest. I could have handed you a dress and heels"

"Please no" I already had enough of that growing up. Mimosa hands me my cloak and I fix my hair deciding to leave it down instead of doing anything with it. I take in a breath, putting my grimoire in it's satchel before proceeding to fix my cloak for a final time.

"You're nervous?" Mimosa pipes

"Kind of yeah..."

She places both her hands on my shoulders and smiles at me through the mirror. "You're so amazingly gorgeous and a great person, why do you think Yuno asked you to go with him? And think of it this way, he already knows you based off the times you've been together, so you don't have to worry about anything"

I send her a gentle smile. 'I'm sorry I have to lie to you Mimosa, he doesn't know everything, and neither do you'

"Thanks, I needed that"

"Now go! He's probably already waiting in front of the fountain" She pushes me towards the door and I leave. I let out a breath and put a smile on my face as I walk towards the fountain. I see Yuno already there in his uniform.

'I knew I shouldn't have listened to Mimosa'

I walk up to him, a gentle smile on my face. "Sorry, did you wait long?"

His eyes slightly widen and I swear I see a small blush form on his face. "No...I just got here" He looks away. "You look nice"

Now it's my turn to blush. "Aha thank you...we should get going...don't want to be late right?" He nods and gets up. We walk into the capital a noticeable amount of space between us. Neither of us say anything, we just gaze at the decorations adorning the city. A small smile forms on my face. I'm about to speak up when someone interrupts us.

"Y/n! Yuno!" I see Asta smiling and waving. Noelle is right next to him and two unfamiliar faces behind them

"Asta! It's good to see you! You got your arms fixed that's wonderful!" I hug him and he hugs me back, a wide smile on his face

"Are you and Yuno here together?" My face flushes

"Uh-"

"Yes we are" Yuno says, grabbing my hand making me get closer to him
