After 7 years, Sans has aged. He was still that precious child that the parents always wanted. He wasn't wounded, He was just afraid. Afraid of the outside world, Although Serif insisted for the child to go outside, Gaster refused. The child was experiencing agarophobia, Fear of the outside world.
He had to be home schooled. Gaster didn't want his son to be forced to face his fear. It was wrong, at least for him.
Gaster was constantly at Sans' side, said skeleton had never been alone since then. It was the right decision. Sans hated being alone even for a second, Sans had told his dad that he heard voices, Whispering to him if he was alone. Gaster was disturbed and thats how this happened.
Sans was a fast learner. Gaster was proud, very proud.
He had his traits, His son was destined for greatness.
Or so he thought.

The days just got worse.
"Sans come here." Gaster said softly, kneeling down to where Sans' height was, said skeleton came over and ran to his father.
"I need to tell you something.." Gaster said, cupping Sans' hands into his.
"What is it?" 7-year-old Sans asked, tightening his hands in Gasters.
"One day, I'll have to leave you." Gaster said sadly, Sans looked down on him. He mumbled, "I know..."
"But I promise you. You won't be alone." Gaster said, trying to comfort the smaller.
"Really?"
"You won't."
"...."
"Do you want to rule this kingdom when you grow up?"
"I..."
"Its okay if you don't want to."
"...Your little brother could do it."
"..." Sans nodded, He didn't want to rule the kingdom. He was scared that he was gonna get things wrong, His brother was more confident than Sans so...Maybe?
"Alright then." Gaster stood back up and held Sans' hand."
"You wanna eat breakfast now?"
"Yeah!"
Gaster chuckled as the smaller skeleton perked up happily.
