The morning after I awoke my Sharingan, I received praises from many of my clan members. The majority of the compliments were given just so they could try and suck up to father, many people didn't believe it, or they thought it was unfair. In my short time in this life I came to resent the Uchiha clan, even the purest of souls got dragged into the fate of hatred that the Uchiha clan held.

I went to go and find Sasuke to see if he wanted to train with me, he looked dejected after dinner last night and I wanted to make sure he was okay.

I walked towards the kitchen and saw that father was there holding a letter in his hands, he noticed my presence and beckoned me over.

"Y/N, how would you feel about joining the academy next year. The Hokage has sent a letter saying that he wants to enroll you into the academy earlier than normal, you would be two years younger than the rest of the students but I think its good for you. Seeing your potential I think you can be just as good as Itachi." Father spoke while re-reading the letter.

"I would love to join the academy, I think it would help me hone my skills and I would be one step closer to being an amazing Shinobi." I replied, I was aiming to get into the academy early but not this early. I was actually quite excited.

After my minor distraction, I went to go and find Sasuke again. I saw him at the new training grounds, where I learnt the fireball jutsu, sitting and staring into the lake. He looked peaceful, it was nice to see. I walked down the dock so I could sit next to him.

"Hey sasuke," I start, he looks up at me and smiles, I smile back.

"Hey Y/N, I didn't say it last night, but congrats on getting your Sharingan! I can't wait until I get mine!" Sasuke chirped. I giggled and looked into the water.

"I feel like you'll get it sometime soon, and when you do you'll become a really powerful shinobi!" I say exaggerating my hand gestures. I look over to him and see him with a faint blush and a wide grin.

"Hey, Sasuke, do you think i should enrol in the academy next year? The Hokage sent a letter to father saying he wanted me to join, but I don't wanna go without you." I lay back on the dock looking up at Sasuke, he giggled.

"What? Are you too scared to go without your big brother?" Sasuke teased

"Pfft in your dreams. Also you're only a few minutes older than me!" I pouted and crossed my arms, looking away from Sasuke.

Sasuke laughed and I ended up laughing with him. I grabbed his hand and pulled him to stand, I wanted to walk around the village for a bit and maybe get some snacks.

"Oi, Y/N, where are we going?"

"I wanna walk around the village for a bit," I said dragging him with me.

He sighed and agreed to go with me. We walked and talked for a while before we ended up at a tree, the two of us went there often.

It was our place, an old tree, we would go there to get away from Sasuke's fangirls. Honestly, I don't know how we ended up finding it, but it's a special place for the both of us.

I grabbed some of the rice balls I had bought earlier when we were walking around and held one out to Sasuke. He took it and we stayed in a comfortable silence for what felt like hours, the sky shifted from a pearl-blue to a gorgeous orange hue. I stood up and offered Sasuke a hand, he took it and we walked home together in complacent silence.

~ One Year Time Skip ~

Not much happened in the year before my first day at the academy, the only part worth mentioning is that I got my second tomoe on my sharingan. When I started walking into the academy lots of people were staring at me, of course it wasn't normal for a six-year-old to be at the level of eight year olds, nonetheless, I waltzed through the corridors making my way to my first class.

I sat down at a desk in the back and waited for my teacher, while waiting I looked over my schedule for the day. The two that I was most interested in were Shuriken training and sparring, the rest were normal school lessons.

The day went on as any normal school day would until the sparring lesson came, I was actually quite excited. The Hokage was, once again, secretly watching all the matches.

The teacher decided to put me against the weakest student to 'give me a chance' I don't think he realised that I'm actually strong, however it didn't bother me.

The match begun and the student charged at me, trying to punch me, I stepped aside and tripped him, holding a kunai to his throat. The teacher was pleasantly shocked.

We continued sparring for a while and I won every one of my matches, not having to use my Sharingan once. The teacher asked me to spar with him, whether it was because he was fed up of me winning or if he wanted to see how strong I truly was I don't know, I agreed and got into a fighting stance.

The teacher was better than I had expected, he wasn't as good as Shisui though. I activated my Sharingan which definitely surprised him and he threw some kunai in my direction, I threw one kunai and deflected them all. The kunai was headed towards his throat and I jumped to it and grabbed it.

I pinned him to the ground and held the kunai to his throat. After deactivating my Sharingan I got off of him and left.

While walking home I saw Itachi and walked up to him, he was still in his anbu gear.

"Hey Itachi!" I said from behind him.

"Hey Y/N, how was school today?" He asked, waiting for me to catch up.

"Boring," I replied curtly.

He giggled and nodded, "Was it too easy?" I nodded my head eagerly, he laughed again.

"It was the same for me." He ruffled my hair and with that we walked home together.

A/N - I wanted to say that in the beginning chapters the story is going to include a lot of big time skips because nothing really happens when Y/N is young and I just want to have her basic background down so forgive meeee!!!!!

Also tell me if you prefer shorter or longer chapters!
