Chapter Seven: I Have No Candies, You Silly!
"Andrew! You know I hate chemistry and I suck at it. What did you expect from me?" I was fuming at Andrew who was sitting on his bed typing frantically on his MacBook.
I was still on the recliner with my stuff trying to use my brain from almost an hour.
"It's not my mistake that you never took your chemistry seriously." Andrew responded stone cold.
"If I wasn't playing basketball. I would be a nerd who doesn't know chemistry." I whispered and gritted my teeth.
"The chemistry between us works well. Doesn't it." He commented again in a cold voice, but added a slight smirk.
That comment was not required at all!
"Stop making comments like that! Or I'll throw your MacBook down the balcony." I warned him, shooting daggers into his eyes. And they looked more green with brown flecks.. why did his eyes keep changing colours?
"Ok. Do it." He slammed his MacBook shut and threw it towards me. The throw was so damn good, that it landed on my lap. "My father has money, he will get me a new one." Andrew shrugged and laid down on his back yawning, a fake yawn.
I threw his MacBook on him and he slightly groaned when it hit his stomach.
"Andrew." I said half annoyed. "You better help me with some chemistry."
"We already have good chemistry." He said and sat back up again, keeping the device beside him.
"I'm not talking about that chemistry!"
"I only know about that chemistry and a formula to build it." He smirked.
I regretted not going all by myself to school on my bike. I shouldn't have taken Nathan's offer to pick and drop me when he asked me to and I would have never been stuck in a situation like this.
"Andrew please. Get serious for God's sake!" I told him and glared into his eyes.
"Angel calm down." He chuckled. "Stop looking at me like that, you make this hot guy nervous." He said and flapped his hand on his face dramatically like a girl.
I rolled my eyes at him not eager to reply anything. He started helping me with the work and got extremely serious. He was actually very smart. Mrs. Bubble was right, he was good at work and we worked together well too. The only problem was his behaviour, he switched it instantly at any time. And he made me feel dumb.
Dumb dumb Kiara, who cannot do chemistry. Ugh.
"Done!" Andrew shouted and threw his hands up in the air. "You got it right?" He asked me.
"Yeah I did. I wasn't expecting that from you." I honestly spoke up.
"I'm a hidden gem." He smirked. Andrew started giving me a weird look, he acted as if he was wondering something about me.
He opened his mouth to say something when we heard a knock on the door. Andrew walked towards it, "Who is it?" He asked.
"I have candies!" A cute little toddler voice sang from the other side.
"How many?" Andrew asked making his voice sound childish and pouted.
After a few seconds, I could hear the voice again, "Hmm.. I'm seven so I brought seven."
I chuckled at the logic. The voice reminded me of Ishaan for some reason.
Andrew turned the door's knob and opened it to reveal a brunette girl with olive skin. She didn't really resemble Andrew and Ryan.
