My heart was beating so hard in my chest. I could see the mansion getting closer. Blindfolded half the journey it felt like an eternity. The bigger it got, the faster my heartbeat. Memories started to flood my mind.

We were sitting in bed, my head laid on his shoulder holding each other with our legs tangled under the sheets. We had been watching a movie but I couldn't concentrate with him next to me.

I could only smell his cologne, feel the way his fingers ran up and down my arm and listen to his steady heartbeat.

"I love you Beth. All of this feels like a dream. Like I'm going to wake up one day and you'll be gone." Leo spoke in a defeated manner.

I raised my head and placed my hand softly on his cheek. "I love you too much to leave you Leo. I am not going anywhere. I will be right here, always."

He held out his pinkie, "Pinkie promise me."

"Are we five or what Leo?" I rolled my eyes folding my hands.

Leo smiled, "Come on, just do it. I've been told no one ever breaks a pinkie promise."

When I realised he was being serious I huffed and held out my pinkie too as we made the promise. "Pinkie promise!" I laughed.

"Good because the day you leave me, is the day I lose myself."

I shook my head as the slick red Lamborghini pulled up into the driveway of what used to be a place I called home once upon a time. I was dressed in the red dress which made my body look mermaid like.
