Luke

I didn't really look at the clocks that much. I actually kept them covered.

But today when I woke up and walked downstairs, my 14 year old sister came up to me and said "Luke can I pleasse look at your clocks?" I was really tired and I knew she was going to keep asking if I said no so I agreed.

She looked at me with a very excited look and said "Luke...y-your love clock. I-it's on 1 hour.." One hour?! I thought it was going to be years! God my sister does know when to look. I think she's just anxious because hers is still at 6 years.

What am I going to wear? What do I say?! I decided to just do my normal thing. I got on black skinny jeans and a band tee.

My sister, Ashley, waved goodbye with a big grin on her face as I left the house. I was walking along the side walk and glanced at my clock again. It read "4 minutes and 36 seconds remaining." It was so close. I walked along the side of the road for 4 minutes. Then I saw her.

She was wearing a blue dress and she had beautiful dirty blonde hair. When she looked at me she had a big grin on her face then she crossed the road. I looked at my clock and it said 0. But I haven't met her yet? I hear screeching of a truck and I run over to the girl.

My soulmate in blue is now stained red and not breathing. I look at her clock and they all say zero and fall off. I don't get a life time of happiness like others. I didn't even know her name.
