A blank canvas and a blank mind,
Devoid of images, colours hard to find.
Thoughts streaming in and out,
Darkness all around.
Shall i find hope……i doubt.
A rainbow overhead and pastures beneath,
A cortege carrying a dead,with a beautiful sheath.
A naked child crying for food on the street,
A wedding procession with many a dancing feet
A breathtaking visual against stark reality,
Agony interspersed with beauty.
Shades of life either black or white,
Each incomplete without the other.
Like the warp and weft of a cloth woven tight,
One alternates another.
I dream of a world where all are happy,
Where no one is poor and no work petty.
Where sadness is a word unknown,
No tears ,only seeds of smiles are sown!
