Chapter 1

Bumblebee was sneaking down the hall, trying his best to be as quiet as possible. Everyone was in recharge, all but one. Ratchet, who usually always stayed up to do small things when it was quiet.

Peeking around the corner he saw Ratchet typing away then he moved to a far wall. Bumblebee knew he had to do something.

"Bumblebee what are you doing up at this hour?" Ratchet asked when he spotted the scout.

"Uuuhh.....umm...I uh can't recharge, and was just gonna go for a quick drive to help tire me out" Bee said.

"Driving this late!? When everyone won't be able to come to your aid!? Absolutely not! Just walk around the base" Ratchet said as he noticed one thing missing.

"I have to grab something and I expect that ground bridge to remain closed. And you in base" Ratchet said walking down the hall.

".........yeah right, sorry Ratchet not this time" Bee smiled as he ran down the exit tunnel.

(Else where)

Knockout had been sitting on a fallen tree Waiting for his company to arrive. Getting bored staring at his claws he sighed as he looked around for any sign of the other mech.

Growing tired of sitting, he stood up and walked around. Hearing an engine he turned to see the yellow and black mech driving up quickly to him.

"Bout time Bumblebee, I was about to leave" Knockout said.

"Sorry Ratchet saw me" Bee said.

"Did you say anything about us?" Knockout asked a little panicked.

"No! Of course not!" Bee said.

Knockout pouted and folded his arms over his chest, Bee smirked and walked up to the other. Moving the others arms over his shoulders and he wrapped his arms out the others waist.

"Awe don't look like that...everything will be fine" Bee said between kisses.

"Mph...Your clingy tonight arent you" Knockout teased with a smile.

"Only to you KO" Bee said.

"Hehe...won't Ratchet know your gone?" Knockout asked pulling his helm back a bit.

"Maybe but I don't care...I won't let them catch us together, even if it kills me" Bee said holding the other tighter.

"Mm....Bee don't say that...Breakdown said that once, and look what happened. He died" Knockout said.

"Hey hey I won't die so easily. And I know how to handle Airachnid" Bee said kissing Knockouts face.

"What is it with you and kissing my face all the time" Knockout chuckled.

"Cause I love to kiss you, hold you, love you and pamper you" Bee said.

Before Knockout could say anything his comms went off, he was being called. So he quickly gave Bee a kiss and rushed off.

Bee sighed as he watched his mechfriend leave, he smiled and made his way back to base. He knew Ratchet would chew him out but he didn't care.

'Oh and Bumblebee' Knockouts voice came over his private comm link.

"Yeah?" He answered.

'Thank you for coming to see me tonight' Knockout said.

"Anytime, I love being with you, and I love you" Bee said.

'Yes you've said so, so many times now....I....I love you to Bee' Knockout said cutting the comm.

Be laughed, he knew it was hard for the red mech to openly say I love you, he knew it would be since he lost his best friend and lover. But he was willing to give him the time and wait for him to say it on his own.

Quietly Bee made it back inside and went to his room. He sighed as he wasn't caught, he laid on his berth and smiled going to recharge with Knockout in his thoughts.

Megatron circled his medic and glared at him. Soundwave had found that he used the ground bridge to go to earth and blocked his signal.

"So tell me, where were you?" Megatron asked rather calm.

"N-no where special...just went to watch uh watch nature and what not" Knockout said.

"Hmmm then why block your signal from Soundwave?" Megatron asked.

"I wished to be alone my lord, so no one would bother me" Knockout said.

"Tsk....keep this up Knockout and I'll lock you in that med bay so you can't leave! Now get out" Megatron said facing away.

Knockout scrambled to his feet and ran. And he kept running until he reached his room. Only then did he relax.

"I hate it here" he mumbled into his berth looking at Breakdowns empty berth still in the room.
