Hope you like the story, it's as I said, a Work In Progress.

Dominic usually hated waking up early, yet today he felt quite cheerful for the day. He got out of bed by 7:00AM, a time before his parents would wake up. Typically, they would make fun of him for being late for school, but it was quiet this morning. Looks like they don't have any reason to make fun of him now. He grabbed a dark blue pair of pants, with a grey and black horizontally striped shirt and a raincoat slinged over his shoulder, a black raincoat. He realized it was still early, so he stayed home for a little longer, getting a cup of coffee and reading on the couch, setting his raincoat down on the couch armrest.
-8:00AM- It was October the second, and quite a cold and rainy day. He walked downstairs to leave the house, but before he needed to get his glasses off his nightstand, in his room. Silly Dominic. He walked back up, as any normal person could do, and snatched it off his nightstand in annoyance at himself. Now at this time, he remembered that he needs to brush his teeth. He walked downstairs, again, and walks into the dark bathroom. He struggled to find the light- oh, looks like he found it. Anyway, he then brushed his teeth which didn't take much time, luckily. He looked at himself in the mirror, seeing a tired ginger looking back at him. Well, he surely was tired, considering his family pressured him to wake up earlier, as mentioned a while ago.
-8:20AM- He walked outside, being hit with the frosty, cold air of  Maine in autumn. He walked towards the high school, with him pulling his raincoats zipper, which is currently stuck, and he is distracted looking down. He was surprised when a car came whizzing by, with cold air and red sugar maple leaves hitting him in the face. You could've avoided that if you looked up, silly Dominic. He noticed a guy walking down the other sidewalk across the street from him. He must live near me, Dominic thought. He looked quite attractive, with brown hair and glasses. Not much time to gaze, Dominic should have thought, but instead he kept looking and tripped on the pavement, scraping his wrist once he landed on the sidewalks cold and rough surface. He got back up and luckily he didn't hurt himself too bad.
He was in the parking lot of the school now, 3 minutes has passed since he fell due to his stupidity. An update on the scrape, it bled a little but he was okay. It reminded him of his childhood in Quebec, playing on his grandmas street in the middle of winter. He was 7 at the time, and his sister, Leah was a bad sister at the time. She pushed him onto the street, cutting his hand. His grandma was inside, and she didn't like when we fought, so he didn't mention the altercation to his grandma. He regrets his inaction now, because Leah is a bitch to this day.
He approached the double doors to the school, while waiting in line to have his temperature checked, in this current pandemic, he got used to it. He was allowed inside at the body temperature of 97˚F. When he got inside, he was hit with the warm, dry air circulating in the school. It felt nice feeling heat again, after doing the long trek to the school.
-Authors note- Hope you enjoyed the story so far, I will update this more in the future, you can expect a new chapter in the next few days. Stay tuned!
