Chapter 11:

Chapter 11: What A Happy Day

Luna's POV

I open my eyes and adjust to the sun shining through window. I stretch and roll over to see Jake still sleeping like a rock. I stare at him and smile. I leave a soft kiss on his lips and his eyes slowly flutter open. He smiles at me and pulls me closer to him. I giggle and he closes his eyes again.

He says "Just five more minutes."

I say "You can have five more minutes but I smell bacon so I'm gonna go downstairs and eat me some food."

I wriggle out of his grip and stand up. I go pee and then slip on a hoodie and some shorts. Jake went back to sleep so I just walk downstairs to be welcomed by the smell of heaven.

I walk in the kitchen and mom says "Oh good. You're awake."

I say "Shouldn't you be gone for your trip already?"

She says "Me and your Father are leaving in 30 minutes. I just thought you and Jake deserved some breakfast."

I make a plate and start to eat as I sit at the table. Jake walks in the kitchen and greets my mom goodmorning and sits down next to me stealing my food.

I pull my plate back and say "Hey! Get your own!"

He grins and grabs another piece of my bacon. I roll my eyes and just continue to eat.

Dad walks in the kitchen and says "Luna. Here's you some money for while we're gone. Don't forget that you're scheduled to visit your sister at 12. Take her a gift. It'll make her feel better. I love you and we'll see you when we get back. Don't destroy the house."

He hands me money and gives me a hug. I hug mom and tell them bye. They leave and I put the money on the table. I rinse off my plate and grab a bottled water from the fridge.

Jake says "How do you think your sister will react to us getting married?"

"I honestly have no idea. I'm nervous to see her. What if she hates me now?"

Jake says "She doesn't hate you Moon. But you seem to forget she caused you to get into a bad car wreck."

I roll my eyes and say "I haven't forgotten. What happened was an accident. Can we just not talk about this?"

He sighs and says "Okay. Can we go back to bed?"

I laugh at him and say "We just woke up."

He says "So? Its still really early and I'm still really sleepy."

I smile and say "Fine. But we're only sleeping."

He chuckles and we walk upstairs. I jump on the bed and get comfy. Jake lays next to me and pulls me to him. I giggle and find a movie to watch on Netflix.

I lay down and get comfy. Jake starts to kiss my neck as he rubs the inside of my thigh.

I say "I thought you wanted to sleep?"

He grins and gets on top of me, pulling the blankets over our bodies. He lays on me and cuddles me.

I giggle and he says "I am sleeping."
