Chapter 3
I open the screen of my laptop, to see if I had any emails. Speaking of messages, I need to send one to Sarah. I really want to tell her whats been happening with this whole vampire dream thing. she always knows what to say, and she will tell me her honest opinion. That's why I love her.
Sarah_rox101: Hey babe, we should catch up today! xoxox Sarah.
Lizzy_bella558: Hey OMG I have soooo much to tell you! want to meet me at my place in 5? xoxox Izzy.
Sarah_rox101: Sure! see you then darl:)
I shut the scrren to my apple mac, and head to the bathroom, quickly applying some mascara and lipgloss. I tie my curly blond hair into a loose pony tail, and throw on my strapless summer dress. Just as I was spraying my perfume, there was a very loud knock on the door. That could only be one person. I thought funnily to myself. I swung open the door, and was immediately pulled into a massive bear hug.
"Hey Izzy!" sarah can be so loud sometimes.
"Dude, I have neighbours you know?" she just gave me that sorry look, before throwing all of her shopping bags on the couch.
I couldn't help the words fly out of my mouth. "Been busy I see Sarah?" She gave her beautiful genuine laugh, that reached her bold brown eyes.
"I though we could have some morning tea?" she is always so considerate.
"Depends." I say. "What did you bring?" I tease.
"Well.... chocolate mud cake, 2 brownies, lammingtons, croissants, and two medium cappucinos with 2 sugars?" she gave me a look, as if to say; I hope I passed Izzy's food test. MY mouth watered at every thing she said.
"I really do love you Sarah!"
So we sat on my front verandah, relaxing on the long pool- like chairs, munching on brownies, and sipping our coffees. It was so nice to just be able to relax. Have no worries. I sighed peacefully, then remembered why I wanted her to come around.
"You know how I was saying that I wanted to tell you something?" She nodded. "Well, I had the dream again, and the weird thing was, it was different." I gave her a few minutes to absorb this information.
"W-w-what! you have got to be serious! Tell me everything!" Sarah couldn't keep her mouth closed, as I told her about what the guy looks like, the scar on my neck, and the blood. I also told her what I googled, and that the man could be my Vampire mate. when you explain things to people out loud, it really makes ot sound stupid. In fact, I almost burst out laughing when I was telling her.
" NO WAY! this is not happening! Vampires? they just don't exist. what did Mr Reeves tell you? Wikipedia is an unreliable source! You shouldn't believe everything you read on the internet you know." sarah always looked on the logical side of things.
"Well..." I began, " You never know. I mean think about it? I have a scar on my neck, I dream about someone biting my neck, after my dream last night, my neck was bleeding." I made sure to emphasise the word neck each time. " Don't you think that is just a bit... I don't know, weird?"
But, of course, she disagrees. "It could just be coincidence."
The next sentence just flowed like a river from my mouth, and nothing I could do would stop them. "Or maybe, its fate."
What is going to HAPPEN? This chapter was kind of gettinng to know sarah, because she becomes important later on in the story!
