Films to watch this weekend
1. Gunjan Saxena, The Kargil Girl on Netflix
Cast: Janhvi Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Angad Bedi, Viineet Kumar Singh, Manav Vij
Director- Sharan SharmaGunjan Saxena was the first woman to join the Indian Air Force as a pilot at the age of 24 and had served in the Kargil War as a rescue pilot. She was also the maiden female recipient of the Shaurya Vir Award, given to her for displaying courage and grit during the 1999 Kargil war.
Jhanvi Kapoor has improved a lot since her debut film, Dhadak(2018) and has given a good performance throughout the film.
Pankaj Tripathi is perfect as Gunjan's father. He is very natural and both share a great on screen father daughter chemistry.
The first 30 minutes are slow but with the entry of Vineet Kumar Singh as Flight Commander officer, story catches speed and becomes entertaining.
Despite limited budget the climax showing Kargil war scenes looks realistic.
Good one time watch.2. Khuda Hafiz on Disney plus hotstar

It's renamed as Dangerous to add some glamour and is streaming as a webseries on #MXPlayer (which is trying to make its place among other OTTs)
Vikram Bhatt as usual has tried to add sizzling scenes between the 3 lead actors to keep the viewers interested. Story is average without any plot twists. Bipasha is expressionless in most of the scenes. Karan Singh Grover looks stoned.
In 2015 the same director, Bhushan Patel casted Bipasha & Karan in his horror film Alone. The film was a moderate success. Bipasha & Karan started dating during the shooting of the film and got married in 2016.Timepass. Only for big fans of Bipasha Basu or Karan Singh Grover
