The Motorbike Mystery

Jason and the other ones just left them. Maya, Jack, Veronica and Bob just stood there. "Well looks like it's up to us.", said Jack. He was right. Jason and the other drivers left of disappointment, but Maya, Jack, Veronica and Bob does not give up. 

"If it needs a key we'll find a key", said Veronica.

"Yes but where do you think there is a key here?", asked Maya.

"I don't know, but we should get this motor bike down to the farm", said Veronica.

The others agreed and tried pushing the motor bike. It didn't move a muscle. They tried again but it was stuck.  

"Maybe it can be free if we can find a way to break that rock there", said Jack.

Jack looked through his bag, but there were no tools. "Maybe one of us can go to the farm, get a hammer and come back", said Veronica.

"Okay lets do rock paper scissors", said Maya. "Okay", said Jack and Veronica. 

They did it and Jack lost. He ran down the hill and was gone for an hour. 

Maya and Veronica were chatting. "Veronica What do you think about this mystery?", asked Maya.

"Well it's exciting to do it with friends and I know that we will find out who did this right Maya!", said Veronica.

Maya smiled to her dear friend. They will always be friends. Maya just knew it.

Jack came back from the farm and had a hammer with him. "Ready?", he asked. 

Maya and Veronica nodded to him. He took the hammer and hit the rock. He barely missed the motor bike. 

"Hey! Be careful", said Veronica strict.

"Yeah sorry", he said.

Maya, Jack and Veronica pushed the motor bike this time. It was really fast.

"Um Jack! Slow it down!", said Maya scared.

"I am not the one controlling it. I thought it was Veronica", said Jack.

"It's not me!", said Veronica.

"Oops", they said.

In some minutes they were down the hill. 

"Wow, well not doing that again", said Jack.

They only had to walk some km and they were in the farm.

"Maya, why did you bring a motor bike here?", asked Maya's dad.

"It's for a mystery", she answered.

Her dad did not ask any more questions. They went up to the room and put the motor bike in there.  

"Now what do we do?", asked Veronica. 

"I think we should tell our parents about what we are doing", said Maya.

"You sure Maya?", asked Jack.

"Yes they can help us look for the key", answered Maya.

"Okay", Said Jack.

They went down the stairs to their parents.

"Is there anything wrong kids?", asked Jack's dad.

"Yes there is something we would like to tell you guys", said Veronica.

They told there parents everything about Jason, Robert Williamson, the motor bike and the letter.

Their parents looked at each other then they looked at their kids. "It's okay", said Maya's mom.

"We can do this together. Like teamwork", said Jack's mom.

Maya, Jack and Veronica were smiling. Whatever was in that motor bike they were going to find it. As a team.
