The alarm in my room woke me out of my sleep, as I reached to turn it off, I saw that I had constant phone calls from Jullian. I turned my phone over and got out of bed. I walked into my bathroom and begin doing my morning routine, once I was done I walked into Justin's room and went to wake Sarayah.

I shook her, she groaned
"what?" She said.
"Get up, come downstairs with me, so we can make breakfast" she got up from the bed.
"Okay I'll be down in a sec"
"okay" I walked out of the room, and downstairs to start on breakfast.

I walked into the kitchen and grabbed the Sausage from the freezer, and sat them in a bowl of water. Next I grabbed a can of biscuits, and some butter. I set the oven to °350, and waited as the beeper went off. I grabbed an iron skillet from under the cabinets and put some oil unto the pan. The first thing I cooked were the Biscuits, and while they were cooking, I put the sausage into the skillet.

Sarayah had finally made her way down the steps. "Well I see you started without me" I laughed "oh no there's something to be made, you can start on the eggs, but make two separate pans, one plain and one with cheese"
"ok" she reached into the fridge for the carton of eggs.

"Everytime I come over here, we always have breakfast"
"yea, my mom believes that everyone should have a home cooked meal in the morning and at night, but don't get us wrong, on certain occasions we would go out and eat" she shook her head.
"Okay that makes sense I guess".

Once breakfast was made, I could hear my mom walking down the stairs.
"Good Morning mom" I said once she walked into the kitchen.
"Good morning kids, it smells good in here, what did y'all cook?"
"We got Sausage, Eggs half and half, and some homemade Grits and biscuits, and for some sweetness we have fruit to eat" she smiled.

"Sounds delicious, Sarayah can you grab the Orange Juice form the refrigerator?"
"Yes ma'am".
"Mom, why don't you call John over for breakfast, we made plenty" she looked at me
"are you sure?" She asked.
"Mom you don't need my permission go ahead".

"Baby it's not about permission, it's about my kids being comfortable around the people I bring around"
"I'm fine, go ahead" she got up from the table.
"Okay I'll be right back" she walked out of the kitchen.
"What?, your mom's talking to someone?"

"Yeah, and for the first time in years, I could see that she is happy"
"and how does your dad feel about this?" she asked
"What could he possibly say about it?, her and my dad are long over with, and let's not forget he's married"
" have you met his wife?" I shook my head.
"No and at this point, I don't think I'm ready to"
"okay understandable" she sat down at the table.

My mom walked back in the kitchen
"okay, he said he's on his way, he'll be here soon" "great, so we'll wait until he gets here" the door bell went off.
"Wow that was fast, I just got off the phone with him" she got up from the table. I looked over at Sarayah and she shrugged her shoulders.
"Wow he must love him so Tameara" we both laughed.

"Hey Kehaulani someone's here to see you" she yelled from the Living room."
"Me?" I got up from the table and walked to where the voices were coming from.
"I'm gonna leave you two to talk, nice seeing you Jullian"
"nice seeing you too" he replied back as she walked off.

"Hey" he said to me while looking at me
"what are you doing here Jullian?" I folded my arms.
"Well you weren't answering my calls or text, so I decided to pop up, you can't possibly be mad at me for last night"

I opened the door and pushed him out, and closed the door behind us, because my mom likes to eavesdrop and I don't need her questioning me right now.
"No I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at the way you decided to talk to me last night, did you loose your mind?"
"No, but I was trying to get something through to yours"
"what?, by yelling at me?, Jullian I'm not some fucking child, talk to me like you got some sense, and  I'll do the same to you".
