Justin POV:
I felt the corners of my mouth quiver upward and my eyebrows sinked into a disbelieving gaze. "Really? That's what your asking?" I let out a chuckle.
Aria started to blush. "Is it really that bad of a question?" Her eyes were filled with embarrassment. She looked back down at her half eaten sandwich that I made.
"No." I shook my head, still laughing.
"Then why are you laughing?" She asked, almost whining.
"Because, it's funny, for a girl who wants to be friends." I chuckled while talking.
"Oh, stop laughing." She said in a almost serious tone. "You promised that you will answer my questions."
"Okay, okay." I put my hands up in surrender. I let out a sigh, putting my hands down, hesitating for a second. "No, I haven't dated anyone." I answered.
"You hesitated." She raised her eyebrow.
I knit my eyebrows together, shaking my head. "No, I didn't."
"Yes, you did." She argued back.
"Okay, fine. Think whatever you want." I shrugged my shoulders, averting my gaze.
Aria let out a sigh. "Sorry." She muttered. I stared back at her, she was fumbling with her fingers, looking down.
I exhaled through my nose, smiling. "Now it's my turn." I leaned back against the tall chair, shoving my hands into my pockets.
Aria looked up from her fingers, giving me a confused look. "To what?"
I rolled my eyes. "To ask questions." I leaned forward, resting my elbows against the table.
"Oh. But I'm not done asking questions." She replied.
I chuckled. "Only a few more, then it's my turn." I proper my elbow against the island, resting my chin on it.
"Have you every craved someone's blood before?" She asked.
I raised my eyebrows. "What do you mean?"
"Like, have you ever wanted blood, but you can't have it or won't take it?" Her voice shook.
I was astonished by her question. I removed my hand from chin, lifting my head high and sitting up straight. I let out a sigh, looking away from her. "Yes." I answered in a sharp tone.
"W-Who's?" She stuttered.
I turned my head back to her direction. I felt a burning sensation in my throat. Her scent flowing through my nostrils, making the burning worse. I gripped tightly on the table, trying to keep my sanity. I hold on my on to my breath, not wanting to smell her scent. I tried to keep control throughout the whole entire evening, not wanting to do anything stupid or worst of all... something dangerous.
"Yours." I admitted.
Aria let out a gasp. She placed her hand over her mouth. She was so still that she didn't even move. I got off of my seat, without even realizing that I did. Without thinking, I stride over to her, I watched as her brown eyes followed me. I stood so close to her that her scent was more vivid. Her body went stiff, sitting up straight.
I brushed my fingers across her shoulder blade, touching the ends of her long brown hair. I tossed it over her shoulder, leaning down, nuzzling my face into her neck. I sensed her heart skipped a beat and her breathing was uneven.
I trailed my nose against her neck to her jawline and back. I rested my hands against her waist, keeping her body in place. The burning grew stronger. "Mmm." I mumbled. I closed my eyes, rubbing my nose on her skin, forcing goosebumps to form. All of this time, from the day I met her, I wanted to taste her blood. But I knew I shouldn't, I don't want to put her in danger. But I can't resist.
