Nothing Special (Stereo Kicks/Reece Bibby/New Hope Club)

What?

Everyone was so happy that I was the support act on the X factor tour next year! I still couldn't believe that just some normal girl from London was going to be travelling all around the UK to thousands of people and I'm so lucky that I'll get to share this amazing experience with my boyfriend and my best friends, I was so excited!

Ring ring!
"Sorry guys, I'll be back in a minute." Reece murmured. He left and walked out the room and headed upstairs, I wonder who that was.

Reece's POV.
My phone rang in my pocket, I wonder who it was. "Sorry guys, I'll be back in a minute." I said, getting my phone out of my pocket, as I walked upstairs; it was a blocked number, but I was stupid enough to answer it.

"Hello?" Someone said. I recognised the voice. "Hi, who is this?" I asked. "It's Simon Cowell, is this Reece from Stereo Kicks?" He asked. "Yep, it's me" I said, slightly confused. Why would Simon Cowell be calling me? "I've got something to tell you, it's bad news I'm afraid." At this point I was getting slightly worried. I stayed silent waiting for him to continue. "Yesterday, I saw you and your now girlfriend. Unfortunately... I don't know how to put this to you but you can't be in a relationship with Millie right now." He spoke, at these words I grew angry. "Wait...what? Why?" I asked still very confused. "Because you have a girlfriend could affect the band, fans may lose interest in you and the band its self." He said calmly. "But there are 7 other lads in the band, one of which already has a girlfriend." I stated. "Tom was already in a relationship before the show meaning that fans won't lose interest in you because he already had a girlfriend. There is nothing else I can say, you can still be friends and you can still be in relationship together in the future." He said as if nothing had happened. "Reece are you there?" "Yep" I said. "Ok, it's either the band or Millie." He said as he hung up.

He couldn't make me choose Millie or the band. I couldn't choose one over the other, it wasn't fair.

I walked downstairs with my head held low and walked into the living room. Everyone stopped their conversations and looked at me. "You alright mate?" Charlie asked. "Can I speak to Millie please...alone?" I said.

Millie's POV.

Reece walked into the living room and everyone went silent. He looked upset. I know it was partly because of yesterday night but there was something else. Was he ok? "You alright mate?" Charlie asked him, reading my mind. "Can I speak to Millie please...alone?" Reece said, still with his head down. I got up, walked out the living room and followed Reece into the garden. We sat on the grass, opposite each other as Reece held my hands tightly in his.

"Are you ok, Reece, you've been acting really weird since you came down from upstairs?" I stated. "I have something to tell you, the person on the phone was Simon Cowell, he said that we can't be in a relationship because it may affect the band and the bands success I tried everything to make him change his mind but he has made his decision and I have to choose between you or the band." He said quietly as his voice cracked.

"Reece, I'm not expecting you to pick me over the band. You told me that you've always wanted to be a musician, and this is the closest your ever going to get to making that dream turn into reality. Who am I to hold you back from all the success you're going to have with the lads. I'm not going to stand in the way of your dreams, so I guess this is goodbye then." I said, as I began to cry.

"No, Millie. I'm not going to choose between you or the band. I would never do that to you and I would never do it I the boys. We can still be together but we can just keep it a secret and just tell them lot in there, we can just pretend that we're just good friends, because I'm not loosing you or the band." He smiled. I smiled back at him as I leaned in kissing him as it started to rain, it started to get a bit heated so we decided it was time to tell the others.

We walked into the living room and again everyone fell silent, everyone looked so confused. "Me and Reece have something to tell you... We are no longer together." I said as I smirked at Reece and he winked in return. Ok Millie...not the time for butterfly's! "What?" Lauren asked shocked. "Well...we are together but you can't tell anyone. Simon as in Simon Cowell rang Reece to say that we can't be in a relationship because it may affect the band and the bands success. But me and Reece are going to pretend to just be good friends around everyone apart from you lot obviously and keep us a secret. Do you think you'll be able to keep it?" I asked them all. "Definitely!" Tia and Fleur shouted enthusiastically.

I was so happy that everyone agreed, me and Reece just needed to be careful so no one would find out that we were still together. So that was good news but tomorrow me, Tia and Stereo Kicks were leaving the X Factor house for a few weeks before we could be coming back again for the final!
