i shook my head.
"no, i didn't look in there."
toko nodded, taking the box from me.
i felt butterflies as her hand brushed against mine, her soft, porcelain like skin that glows in the sunlight just always put me in a trance.
"Hey.. Komaru? are you okay?"
"oh yeah,.. sorry Toko.. just... day dreaming abit haha."
a few hours later
we had finally brought all the boxes in and we also unpacked, with the help of Byakuya and my brother, of course.
Makoto pulled me into a hug.
"i'm so glad you're happy, lil sis"
he said, kissing my head.
makoto was the bestest big brother ever. he got me a job, a home... a life, after i came back from towa city. he was there everyday and almost everytime i cried over tokos disappearance. i was so happy when he got with byakuya, he deserved it.. he deserves the world.
"thank you Mak. for everything. i don't just mean today."
i ended the hug and walked over to byakuya.
don't get me wrong, he's a shithead for all the stuff he's done to toko.. but he treats my brother right. he was the one driving makoto to me everytime i needed him, and i know he was working hard to bring toko back to me, as much as he hated her.
he is even trying to establish a sort of friendship with her, or atleast be civil, just for me and makoto. he's trying just as much as makoto is.
"thank you, aswell."
i pulled him in for a hug, obviously to his surprise, yet he hugged back.
"anything for family." he whispered quietly.
"very cute, but we've got to go"
makoto said, looking at the time on his phone.
it was getting pretty late.
i ended the hug and byakuya gave me a silent nod.
he walked over to my brother, taking his hand.
"bye you two! see you tomorrow!"
my brother said, leaving with his husband hand in hand.
after the door shut, toko walked up to me.
"what's with the naegis being gay?"
"HEY! my parents weren't gay!"
i laughed.
"i just realised something, Omaru."
i gave toko a confused look.
what did she realise? wait... is it the ring.. did she see me look at it? fuck-
"i never officially asked you to be my.. m-my girlfriend"
my face lit up.
she was right.. she didn't.
"well then? will you..?"
she said impatiently.
"well then what, toki~"
i laughed, wanting to tease her abit.
"ugh, be my girlfriend d-dumby"
i nodded pulling her in for a passionate kiss.
