This is the sentence that makes the zones cower. My name is Amber Shade. I live in zone 6. Were every year we die in the domain. When we are born were given a number, that is tattooed on our wrist. That number goes into a big bowl, were every year 3 of us are chosen an sent to die in the domain. The consistency of the age group is 13- 25 those are what we here in zone 6 call death years. After that your either dead or safe it only depends on who you are. This year would be my 3rd year given I'm sixteen. But it would be my sister's, Paige, first year. I have protected her every day of my life, but today is the one day I can't. Today is the one day we could both die.
