Rosé smiled as Jennie finished speaking. The brunette's hair was tied in a ponytail, a pinch of dark eyeshadow on her. Perhaps some foundation too but she could not tell. The cherry coloured lipstick though, that did capture her attention. All this paired with tight-fit light blue jeans and a beige blouse. In such simplicity, only Jennie could take her breath away.

"You do know she's done right? No need to look at her anymore," came a whisper.

Turning to her left, she found Ren's mischievous gaze. She placed a finger over her lips as his grin widened. Both turned to attention at the voice of their operations manager. His hands waved excitedly. She was unsurprised. The client too appeared impressed by the pitch.

"This will fit the target audience," said the grey-haired woman.

With that, Rosé knew that Jennie's team's pitch had won. Looking over to her own team, she smiled. They did try their best. In the end it came down to the client's advertising needs. Quite frankly, she knew the other team were a shoo-in when they displayed their technicoloured designed posters.

"Rosé," the woman's gravel voice halted her thoughts, "I still think the approach you presented on the products social media exposure would do well," she turned to their manager, "Is there a way to add that in?"

The wrinkles around their manger's mouth dented as his chapped mouth parted, "Certainly! I too think that was a great idea. Jennie and her team can take lead on the project. While Rosé's work along with them as additional support. It is a big project after all."

"Lovely," clapped the woman, "Well then, send over the briefs and then we can talk financials."

"So, we got it?" asked Jennie making their manager smile.

"Yes Jen, you got it."

Jennie's team hooped in happiness. Lisa pulled her in to a hug. Ten flopped himself on to them and their whole team joined in. Rosé chuckled as she and her team clapped for them. As she let out another cheer, she caught Jennie's eyes over Lisa's shoulders. Blowing her a kiss and wink, Jennie's eyes narrowed as she stuck out her tongue at her. It only made her cheer louder.

"Guess we lost out on this one," said Jisoo.

"It's all good," said Rosé as they shook the client's hand. Following her team out the boardroom, she turned to see Jennie and the others still bouncing happily.

After the morning's pitch meeting, the day rushed along. Delegating tasks, sending out briefs and corresponding with needed affiliates for the advertising campaign. Only now was she able to escape her desk for a moment. The kettle clicked and she poured hot water into her cup. Cleaning the spoon, she gripped the cup and inhaled the roasted scent.

"Why hello Jen," the hairs on the back of her neck stood straight. The other woman stood next to her. Too close for her liking.

"What do you want?"

"Can't I just say hello?' Rosé grinned at her.

She turned her head away from her, "No."

Rosé clutched her chest in exaggeration, "How dare you Jenjen. How dare you break my heart."

Jennie's pulse spiked and she hid her smile turning her head further away, "Don't call me that."

Rosé's voice carried the curve of a delighted bow, "Why not Jenjen?"

"Stop it," but Rosé stepped closer and spoke into her ear, "Jenjen," she whispered. Unable to decipher if the shiver she'd seen was in her imagination Jennie already turned to face her, an unimpressed glare plastered on the brunette's face.
