Ashton and I sat at the kitchen island and ate breakfast. I had prepared some bacon and Ash was responsible for the sandwiches. We both actually did a pretty good job if I do say so myself. I poured myself a glass of juice and took a bite of the bacon.

"So, practice today?" Ashton asked me in between his bites. I totally forgot we were going to practice with Michael and Luke today, maybe they talked about it after I left to go to sleep yesterday, or I mean go to Grace. I really didn't want to do anything today I just wanted Ashton to go out so I could be with Grace. I knew I wasn't allowed to be with her, and especially not alone, so Ashton has to leave before. There was something about her that made me want to be around her and learn more about her.

"Yeah okay" I said a bit unenthusiastic.

"Someone's grumpy" Ashton said and eyed me but I didn't lift me head to look at him but I felt how his eyes gazed at me.

"Sorry, I'm just a bit tired" I lied. "I just have to pick up my bass at my house before, when are they coming?"

"Around noon, I think" Ashton said and I looked at the watch on my wrist. It was now 10:45 am so I had some time to drive over to my house.

"Is it okay if I borrow your car then?" I asked Ashton as nice as I could.

"Sure, man" He said and gave me one of his famous smiles. He really is a good friend. I thanked him and the conversation drove off to other topics. When the time was 11:15 pm I made my way to the front door with Ashtons car keys in my hand. I really hoped to see Grace this morning but she hasn't been around all morning. Maybe she's still asleep up stairs, I will probably see her later today.

I jumped in the car and started the engine and drove off. After singing loudly in the car to various song and trying my best to keep my eyes on the road I made it to my house. I parked on the driveway and got out. Dad's car was gone so he was luckily at work at this hour. I put my key in the keyhole and unlocked the door and walked in. The house was dark and silence. There was several bottles of various liquor on the counters, there was also a lot of smoke laying in the air so I though that dad began smoking again.

I shocked my head in disappointment and made my way to my room. When I opened the door I saw that the room was exactly like I left it, my bed was unmade and there was clothes all over the floor. I quickly packed a bag with some clothes and some other stuff. I took my bass and my bag and entered the bathroom to get my toothbrush. The bathroom was a complete mess, there was glass shattered on the floor and the shower curtain was half ripped off and was laying on the floor. I took my toothbrush and exited the bathroom, I really didn't want to be in this house for longer than I have to. I locked the front door again and loaded up the car with all the things. I left the driveway and was once again on the road. I was happy that I didn't met dad, maybe I wasn't ready to met him when he was like this.

After being on the road for a couple of minutes I see a girl wearing a short dress, that ends a high up on her thigh and shows of a little bit of her butt, and boots. I slowed down to get a better view and she turned around. Or course it would be her.

I slammed the brakes and was so surprised when I saw that it was Grace that walked on the sideway. She saw me and began walking to my car and opened the door when she arrived. The smiled at me but I could see that it wasn't the same smile that I saw on that picture on her room the night earlier.

"Hey" She said while standing outside the car door.

"Get in" I ordered but in a nice way, I could she that he had goose pumps on her legs so I didn't want her standing outside while we small talked. She jumped in but didn't move a muscle in her face. She was so unreadable, and maybe that was what I found so interesting, she wasn't predictable nor easy.

"Going home?" I asked her and she nodded at he. She looked so tired, she had bags under her eyes and her make up was all smudged. "Where have you even been? I though you went to sleep after I left yesterday." I asked her.

"I went to a party" She answered shortly while looking out the window. I stayed silence since i noticed that she didn't want tot talk about it. "And I slept at some guys house." She continued.

"Oh" I said and couldn't stop myself to feel curios and a bit jealous.

"Not like that" She continued and her eyes went from the window towards me, but my eyes never left the road. "Don't tell Ash". What was I even supposed to tell Ashton, that I just found her on the middle of the street and decided to take her home? But that was what just had happened but it sounds so wrong.

"Okay" I just said shortly. We sat in silence until we reached the driveway to the house. I parked the car and shut the engine off. We got out and I gathered all my stuff and walked towards the door. Grace walked closely behind me and as soon as I opened the door she ran upstairs. She stopped in the middle of the stair and face me and mouthed "thank you". I nodded at her and she continued running until she reached her room.

I dropped my bag on the bed in the guest room and took my bass and walked into Ashtons room and saw that Luke and Michael already had arrived. We started playing and writing some stuff and there was one thing that wouldn't leave my mind, or should I say person.

It actually sounded pretty good when we all were in sync and played our best. We mostly just sung and played covers of various song but we was really serious about writing our own music in the future, maybe we need to have a band name before we actually can make it.

I enjoyed being with the boys and just hang out, it took my mind off things. I though that Ashton already told them why I "moved" in here since they didn't ask. We took a break and I just laid down on Ashtons bed to breath for a bit, Luke took up his phone and Michael and Ashton started talking about something I really didn't care about.

"Uhm, Ash" Luke spoke up and gained everyones attention. "I just got a text from my friend Sam and he said he banged some chick called Grace yesterday" He took a short pause and I looked over to saw Ashtons reaction. But Grace told me in the car that it wasn't like that, did she really lie to me the first thing she do?

Ashtons face was unreadable and still, his eye browns started shaking a bit in confusion. "What?" He said like he didn't hear what Luke just said.

"Yeah, I don't know if it was your sis, but I mean if it was, damn" Luke continued and but the look on Ashtons face he had finally understood the statement and rushed out of the door and ran upstair. I could hear him yell from the second floor, it was quiet in Ashtons room and everybody tried to hear him yelling. We heard footsteps running down the stair and Ashton threw the door up and shut it again with a bang.

"Ask what her last name was" He said and pointed to Luke. He was angry but I could also see some concern in his look.

"She wasn't there?" I asked actually wondering why he didn't stay and talk to her if she was upstairs.

"No" He said shortly and looked over to Luke and waited for his answer.

"He said he didn't know" Luke said after he got the reply from his friend.

"Oh my fucking god, great!" Ashton yelled sarcastic and pulled a bit at the roots of his hair. If she wasn't there then where was she? She can be anywhere, at any time of the day, without anyone knowing. Ashton was very protective and worried about Grace, he has always been that. Especially since their parents left, I really understand him. I don't think that Grace really knows and appreciate that. And I understands that Ashton don't want his little sister sleeping with some guy who doesn't even know what her last name is. She apparently go for the guys who treat her like shit.

"I'm gonna go look after her" He said and took his jacket and walked to the front door. I wanted to come with him and take care of Grace but I knew that wasn't a good idea. I wonder where she goes all the time, and why? So many questions just around one not so simple girl. I only find her more and more interesting after all the things she put her self through. Ashton shut the front door and left Luke, Michael and I alone in his room.

"Now what?"
