Once upon a time there was a banana. it was hated in the banana community in the land of Orange because it didn't have a name. The banana was very sad about it's lack of nameness. It's friends Geoff and Tim were always making fun of him because he didn't have a name.
One day the King of Orange invited the nameless banana to his castle as he felt sorry for the poor banana that had never been accepted by his community. The banana arrived at the castle and felt very intimidated by all of the grandness around him. As he glanced around the entrance hall his eyes fastened on a family portrait. There was the king of Orange, a mighty banana and his beautiful wife and in between them a beautiful banana. The banana felt his heart melt as he looked at the banana goddess in the painting. She must be the princess of banana.
With a sigh the banana looked away as the King of Orange called him into the throne room. Scared, the banana walked in behind the king wondering why he had been called there. He had never been to the castle before and felt a bit nervous, after all, what could one nameless banana be worth to the king?
The King of Orange looked at the banana before him and sighed. This banana was going to cause trouble he knew.
"Why don't you have a name child?" The Kings voice made the banana jump and he stuttered as he replied.
"I do not know king-sir-person. I was never given a name as a child and then my poor mother rotted away leaving me nameless" He felt himself sniffle a bit as he mentioned his poor mother but managed to hold it together. Real bananas didn't cry.
The King felt his heart warmen as the banana told his story. What a poor soul! With great flourish the King of Orange gestured towards the banana and smiled.
"You my good banana, shall have a name. I name you Jim. Jim the banana." Jim felt faint with joy as he gazed at his king. Such kindness!
"Thank you my honour-my lord you are the best ever, thank you!" The King chuckled as the young banana bowed and hastened from the room. A banana as young as him deserved a name afterall. As Jim left the throne room he saw a sight that made his heart drop to his feet. The princess was standing in front of him. She smiled at him and then much to his shock pulled him into a tight embrace.
"I heard your story Jim. It was so touching! I cannot make up for the loss of your dear mother but if you would take my hand in marriage i would be honoured." Jim was so shocked at this news he almost died on the spot. What a lucky banana he was! With a gasp of delight he grabbed the princesses hand and they spun into the throne room laughing like bananas. Because they are bananas. Duh.
Anyway, the King of Orange was very shocked to see his daughter with Jim. He was even more shocked at the news they had for him. With a grin he realised that Jim was exactly what his daughter needed in her life, he was a well-mannered banana with a nice smile. He was perfect. With a grin the king nodded his approval.
Days past in a whirl for Jim until it was finally time for him to get married to the pricess. He was so happy as he walked down the aisle he felt his heart expand. He then realised that he shouldn't be walking down the aisle because he was a dude. Silly Jim. Everybody laughed at him as he raced to the front but he just grinned back. He was too happy to care.
Then the princess arrived and the two bananas were as happy as they could be. They were pronounced banana and banana and lived happily ever after. The end.
