Prologue

Liam looked at his surrounding. In the sky was a ominous battalion of clouds, he didn't mind at all in this case, because his best friend was walking beside him with a coat and his mop of curls were a bit messed up, Liam liked it though. Harry had never been this quiet and that was all that Liam was thinking about.

Since he had discovered his feelings for the younger boy, he had started to see all the details and how the Cheshire boy acted around him. It was something Liam needed to, and was craving for, since they were put together in a band.

"Liam?" Harry asked the brown eyed boy, who looked at him.

Harry kept calling Liam's name a few times, but he decided to give up when he noticed that the boy wouldn't come out of his own world for a while. Liam's brown eyes were boring holes intothe sky, which Harry find quite amusing as Liam normally would tell them to look onto the road/street.

The emerald eyed boy tried to bring his friend back to the normal, it seemed like Liam was in thought, and if Liam had senced it, he stopped walking when he realized that his mate had stopped some seconds before him.

Harry had a wide grin on his face, when he saw Liam turning around with a frown. Liam couldn't think of a reason the lad had stopped, he wasn't sure if Harry wasn't feeling well or maybe he was just as childish as always, yet Liam never stopped smiling in his mind, because if he was honest, Harry was great fun to be around.

Liam took a few steps back to reach the boy, who still was grinning like a mad man.

"Harry, what are you doing?"

"I'm trying to make you listen to me, Liam, wasn't it obvious?"

"Not at all, Harold."

"Harold never means something good." Harry laughed. "What's on your mind, Payne?"

"Harry...I..." Liam sighed.

"Spit it out, Payne."

"I..."

Liam didn't know why, or how his body was now in front of Harry's, but it was.

"Don't hurt me after this, Styles."

And before Harry could even think of something to reply, Liam was pressed against him with his soft winter gloves on Harry's  cheeks and their lips squeezed together. The Cheshire lad couldn't react to Liam's actions, but he liked it and the warmth of Liam's body was making him go wild on the inside.

Maybe that kiss had brought up, everything Harry had wanted to hid of Liam, because of his insecurities or how sensitive he was.

Liam pushed himself back with all the strenght that he had because he didn't want the younger boy to think he was mad or obsessed with him.

"I love you, Payne."

Liam laughed, perhaps his decision of showing affection hadn't been that wrong.

But little did Harry know that all of this was going to change soon.
