I think it would be a good idea to listen to this song while reading this chapter ))
There stood Vale's mountain chunk of sharded ice, melting the flames away and gleaming in the setting sun. It was terrifying, yet so beautiful at the same time, and was quite a piece of scenery. It started from the bottom with a deep, icy blue tone and later faded into a glittering cyan towards the middle. Finally, at its peak, it was pure white, whiter than white itself, and paler than a sheet of paper.
Things just keep getting weirder and weirder... Patience commented, munching happily on a piece of steka.
Valor bumped past Aspen's lingering grin and grabbed Vale by the shoulders, helping him off the ground in a hurry.
"Vale! Oh my God, are you okay?!" She started to panic just as Artemis and Tobi rushed by her.
Vale raised his head, his crystal eyes drooping low as he weakly attempted to open his mouth to assure her that he was okay, but all he did was blink twice before falling into her arms.
I'm fine... he mentally told her. Nothing to worry about...
"Oh my-" She almost yelped at his sudden motion but was able to straighten him up. Dark red blood flowed out of his nose and began to stain his lips. It coursed down his chin and dripped onto his clothes, soaking it up like a sponge. He didn't respond to Valor's calls and remained limp and unconscious leaning against her chest.
"Here! Lemme help," Aspen offered.
"No," Artemis blurted out instantly. He exhaled and cleared his throat. "I, I think you've done enough, Aspen." He then ran out to help out Valor and Tobi carry him back into the cabin.

"Mmmm..."
Vale lazily opened his eyes and looked around the room. His head pounded and ached, and his throat was dry and a bit sore.
"Oh! Thank goodness you're awake!" a voice clattered. Valor grinned at him with nothing but relief and glee as she sat in a chair next to the bed he was lying in.
Vale fluttered his eyes and yawned, sitting up by propping himself up with his elbows. "What happened?" he asked her, looking around the room. A window was across the room with his huge iceberg still perched far outside and a shelf attached to the wall with vases of flowers and other plants poking out.
It was very cosy, yet a bit small.
"You passed out," Valor told him. She reached to her right and grabbed a glass of cold water to hand to him. He accepted it and took a small sip, later ending in large gulps.
"You slept for about fifteen hours... so you lost a lot of fluid last night," Valor continued. She smiled again and shrugged, her wavy hair falling back behind her. "Turns out that humongous iceberg took a lot out of you."
