The Main Reason

Hea's Pov

Normal day at the cafe, I have been working on a new cupcake recipe since two days which will be on sale today. I hope the customers will like the new chocolate cupcake with vanilla filling and stawberry toppings.

The bell distracts me from my work. I looked up to see Jin enter the shop. Jin the one who works with me in the shop also the one in my heart. His jokes and cooking is the one that keep me sane. He is incredibly handsome also the reason there are soo many customers in my shop.

Those highschool girls sit in my shop all the day staring at him like a hawk, but I have no problem with the staring till they are ready to order the food.

"Good morning Hea... The cupcake looks great" He greets me while ruffling my hair. I giggle and offer him a smile.

"I hope they like it" I say and suddenly Jin move closer to me which kind of takes me off gaurd.

"Whatever you make with those hands is delicious... So don't worry" I could faint right now, but I really have no intention to get embarrassed in front of him, so I decided to play cool.

"Yeah... Do you wanna try some" I lifted the cupcake and placed it near his mouth, he got hold of my hand and devoured the cupcake. While this whole skin ship my fingers got lightly brushed his plum lips.

The heat rushed my cheeks, which made me pull myself a bit back.

"Mmmm... They are super delicious" he said and went back to change into his work clothes. I sometimes wonder, what will happen if I confess my love to him.

Will he accept it?

Jin and I have been friends since school days. He was a senior, but since he tutored me back then, we grew close.

When he close or holding my hands,  I do feel something, I was going to confess my feelings but before that he got a very beautiful girlfriend, Aerum.

Maybe, Jin and I have no future.

I continued with my work and placed all the freshly baked goods in the trays. By the time Jin cleaned the floors and the table, setting everything properly.

"So, are you ready for another great day ?" He asked. I nodded and he pulled up the curtains of the shop, changing the sign from closed to open.

Customers stated to come in one by one. My shop is almost in the city which attracts alot of people who are craving for morning brunch.

"Hea, are you free during evening?" Jin asked while I served the tables.

"Yeah... I guess" I replied being utterly confused by his sudden question.

"I was wondering, if you wanted to hangout with me?" He scratched the back of neck and a boyish grin on his face. A small blush took over my cheeks....

Is he asking me on a date ?

But- He has Aerum!!!

Ofcourse it's a friendly hangout... Stop overthinking!

"Umm... Yeah... That would be great"  I tried to hide the feeling, thinking how stupid I was to think for a second that Jin could think of a girl like me more than a friend.

I sighed and went back to being a normal and simple girl that I was.

"Omg it's Jin... Look today he looks so handsome wearing the black apron" I heard those highschool girls giggle.

"I couldn't agree less... Oh God! Look he is coming this way" I heard another girl which made me turn my attention to them.

"So girls, what can I get you today?" Jin asked politely, while the girls were literally making heart eyes at him.

"You!" One of them said, my eyes widened at the her confidence.

"You- have cheesecake?" I chuckled bat her attempt to hide the words.

"Excuse me, could you take my order?" The man in front of me asked. I was soo engrossed in my thoughts and the scene in front of me, I completely forgot about the line of customers waiting right in front of me.

"Oh! I am sorry sir.... " I apologized and continued to take orders.

After what it felt like forever, the crowd finally lessened , which means we could take a break.

Jin and I usually talk about the new recipes we could try in our shop, but this time he was in his phone outside.

I wonder who he was talking to, but then a car stops in front of him and he placed his phone back in his pocket. That black car is very familiar.

"Babe, I have missed you!" A very beautiful girl, with rose pink hair comes out and throws herself in his arms.

Jung Aerum!

Jin pulls her closer by her waist and finally their lips lick with eachother.

Oh God! I can't see it!

I quickly rush inside the washroom and lock the door behind me. Tears flowing down my cheek. I shouldn't cry over them. They are a happy couple, and it's not like he cheated on me or something.

I was the one who played the cupid between them... It's all my fault.

I am responsible for my own misery .
