Spoilers for the Dream SMP War ahead!!!

So the other day I was watching Tommy's Doomsday stream and the ending was.... I'm so proud of Tommy.

He gave away the discs for L'manberg and that was such a good moment. I know it was for content but still. Anyway, even with the emotions and everything I was pretty confused by something.

As I was watching the stream and he offered the discs in exchange for independence, I was not expecting for Dream to actually agree, you know? Why would he? The discs have no value to him so why would he throw away his victory for two pieces of crap? Just to tease Tommy? To rub it in his face?

That's not like Dream. He's too competitive for that. He wouldn't give it all up just to mess with Tommy for a bit. And yet, he accepted. He actually took the offer and gave L'manberg freedom in exchange for two, in his eyes, worthless discs.

At first I thought it was for Tommy. My reasoning in that moment was that Dream understood how big of a sacrifice Tommy was willing to make for victory and even though the discs meant nothing to him, he decided to acknowledge Tommy's dedication to L'manberg and let him have his way.

But then today I found footage of Dream trying to exchange Cat for his horse with Skeppy. Why would Skeppy want the discs?

Immediately, Tommy, Tubbo, and Jack showed up at the scene, killed Skeppy and interrogated Dream on which disc he was giving away and why. And that's when it hit me.

Everyone on this server is insane but in my opinion, the three most dangerous people in the Dream SMP are Dream, Skeppy, and Tommy. And those discs, Dream may have them right now but they are still Tommy's. He wants them back and he'll probably get them eventually.

I thought those discs were worthless but they're not. Tommyinnit gave them an incredible emotional value. In his eyes, they are irreplaceable and that alone gives the discs so much more value for the rest of the players on the server because whoever has the discs, has leverage on Tommy.

That's why Dream took the discs. Because even if that would make him a target for Tommy, it also gives him power over him. That's why Skeppy wanted the disc in exchange for the horse. Because that'll give him something he can hold over Tommy if he ever needs a back up plan.

Tommy is not the kind of guy who thinks twice before acting and once he makes up his mind there's little that can be done to stop him so having those discs could be a big advantage for whoever ends up on the wrong side of his sword.

I like analyzing people and situations way too much and I'm probably overthinking things but I had fun so I don't care. I wrote this at 1:30am so, sorry if it's weird or confusing. I'll check it tomorrow for grammar and spelling mistakes.
