Chapter 18

Chapter 18: Carnival fun

“I want to try that one!” Niall yelled pointing at a little carousel with horses. 

“Really Niall?” Liam asked. He nodded. “Then let’s go everyone.”

“Yay!” Niall yelled running to the carousel. We followed but were stopped by Louis pulling in my arm.

“Shouldn’t we try that one instead?” he asked pointing to one of those wheels that go around so you can sit on the top and see the whole town.

“Sure. What about the others?” I asked.

“Don’t worry. Liam knows we’re going over there.”

“Ok. Then let’s go!” I said pulling his arm this time. We got up in the coupé or what it is called and we sat down. We drove up to the top and looked around. It was amazing. Since it was about 9 pm the stars were showing. I got a shock when it started going up because I wasn’t totally ready for it to go. I landed on Louis. He laughed and kissed my forehead.

“I got you” he said kissing me on the lips. We sat there for awhile before we needed to breathe. “You know what, Jen?” he asked.

“What?” I smiled.

“I think I love you” he mumbled.

“What?” i asked surprised.  

“I just said that I think I love you. I thought to myself today when you got out of the bathroom: ‘She looks so good even in t-shirt and jeans. She always looks good. She has a good personality and good looks. I’m so lucky to have a girl like her'. I didn’t even think about what I thought at that point but know I’ve thought about it and I think I’m falling for you. Hard.”

“I love you too.” I said without even considering it. The rest of the tour down it was silent. Not that awkward silence but a nice one. We got down to the bottom were the other boys stood waiting for us. The rest of the time we rode some roller coasters, got some cotton candy (mostly for Niall who afterwards had his face covered in it) and just had fun.

*In Harry and Louis’ apartment*

“How about truth or dare?” Harry asked after we had discussed about what to do in about 10 minutes. We all nodded.

“I’ll start” Niall said still fully awake after such a long day. Doesn’t that boy ever get tired? “Truth or dare Harry?”

“Uhmm… Truth.”

“Are you jealous of Lou and Jen??” Niall said.

“What?” Louis asked.

“I was, but not anymore.”

“Why were you jealous?” I asked confused.

“Didn’t Louis tell you about what we talked about at that ‘meet and greet’?”

“Yes, but I don’t understand why you’re still jealous about you not winning that bet.”

“I’m not. Honestly I’m just a bit jealous that Louis got such a sweet girl like you.” That closed my mouth… Without saying anything else I went into Louis’ room and sat on the bed. Did Harry just say that he was jealous of Louis because he had me? Or because of my personality? I got knocked out of my thoughts by a low hoarse voice. “Are you ok?” Harry asked. I had been so up into my thoughts that I hadn’t noticed him coming in.

“Yeah… Can I ask you something?”

“Sure. What’s up?” he said sitting next to me on the bed.

“Did you mean you were jealous because Louis have me or because he have a girl with my personality?”

“Both… You’re sweet and beautiful. I mean who wouldn’t want you?”

“Many people…” I said thinking about all of the boys staring at Gabby and me sitting there drawing things and thinking about when one of them would look at me instead.

“Well those people are douche bags, ok? They don’t know what they’re missing.”

"Thank you for trying to cheer me up, but you know that isn’t true…”

“But it is, Jenna. You’re a great girl and those boys who couldn’t see that is not worth you thinking about them.” He said seriously. I nodded and gave him a hug.

“Thank you Harry. You know… If you weren’t such a flirt you would probably already have found that special someone.” I joked.

“Am I such a big flirt?” he asked. I nodded. “I think I need to be a bit more serious about love…" he said and got caught up in his thoughts. "You know, Jen… You’re truly an amazing girl.”

“And you are a great guy, Harry.”

“Thanks Jen.” He said and kissed my forehead.
