I stared at the ambulance as they took Hero away.
"Please tell me he's going to be okay! Please!" I screamed hysterically.
"Miss, you need to calm down. We don't know anything yet" one of the nurses said and next thing I knew I was seeing the viachle drive away from me.
No.
I can't lose him. I can't lose him too.
"Jo..." Alex's tended voice grabbed my attention.
"Shut up and take me to the hospital" I snapped at him.
He quickly nodded and he got into the car with me. When we reached the hospital they told us that Hero was in the ER and we had no imfortmation about his situation yet. They wouldn't let me see him and I was going crazy.
"How can you not know anything yet? Is he dead or not? Tell me! You know but you aren't telling me!" I snapped at an innocent nurse.
I suddenly felt soft hands touch my shoulders and trying to pull me back.
"Jo, just calm down. Please" Alex whispered softly.
I pushed him away.
"You don't get to talk right now! This is all your fault" I pushed his chest. "You weren't paying attention and now he's..." my voice crached. I didn't even want to think about it but my brain couldn't help but think that I had officially lost him. I had lost him like I had lost every other important person in my life.
"He wasn't paying attention either" Alex defended himself.
"You probably hit him on purpose"
"How can you fucking think that?"
"How can I not? You hated him. You hated us!"
"I wouldn't kill a fucking person are you serious Josephine?"
"Why are you even here, Alex? Why don't you just leave us alone? Why don't you leave everyone alone already?"
"Oh you mean I should go kill myself?" he snapped at me.
As soon as his words were out I took a step back like he had pushed me.
"I didn't mean it like that" I looked down.
I heard him take a deep breath. "I know."
We sat down on a bench and I wiped my tears quickly.
"You know I tried again" he suddenly broke the silence.
"Huh?"
"After you left me, I tried again to jump off a bridge"
I gulped.
"I'm still here so I guess it didn't work" he chuckled sadly.
I was about to say something when he cut me off.
"I'm so so much better now" he confirmed. "I got a job and I..." he trailed. "I got adopted" he smiled.
My eyes lit up in suprise. "Seriously?" I let out a laugh.
"Yeah" he smiled back. "I'm not alone anymore"
"You never were" I shook my head.
He smiled. "I was. But now I'm not"
"I got adopted too" I said.
His eyes widened. "That's amazing"
