This has been over a few decades since the girl I been with has vanished. For years, our story was told over and I am about to tell you how our story is. In 1850 I fell in love with a girl who I meet while traveling on my horse. I was traveling back across England and was coming up to a small village where she was wondering, as I approached her, I seen her fall straight on her back, her long brown hair and her long white dress.
I jumped off the horse to help her up. I ran to her and supported her up and she then turned around as she got to her feet. She looked right at me and then said "thank you kind sir", I can't help but star at her and then she said "can I help you sir", I then noticed her face looking worried and I replied "sorry to star my fine lady I hope you didn't mind but I couldn't help but notice how beautiful you are", her eyes are opening wider. Her eyes blue look as blue as the sky then I introduced "Mind my manners, my name is Tristian". She then said "my name is ", then suddenly and older man on a horse rode up. He then shouted "Anna", she then started to walk off. This old man then carried on saying to her "Anna stop right now listen to your father".
Anna turned to me and said to me "Sorry sir I got to leave", Anna started to walk off then I walked to my horse and carried on slowly behind to watch how this all plans out. Then as I was watching her, her father got closer to her then she turned around and said "your forcing me to get married to someone like that who has been with nearly every available lady", her Father shut her down quickly "Anna don't do this to your family we need you to help your family". She stopped and turned to him and said " no father you will not let me marry him, I will come back to the family if you don't force me to marry him", he then replied with a face softening to almost losing his daughter "Anna we will find a way you don't have to marry him". Her dad looked at her and then I see her staring at me as I was walking past with my horse. She looked at me like she needed my help, but I could not help her as it was a family dispute.
Her father then looked at me after spotting his daughter watching me walk past. Then suddenly, her father said, "Sorry Sir this is a family issue". I kept my eyes on her long brown hair and her blue eyes and she looked up at me. But I carried on my journey to the closest village.
As my journey was getting closer to my destination, I arrived at my family house at the manor my family would call it. My family carriage was sitting in the gravel floor. I walked up to the white stairs to this big house. I opened the big white doors that cricks every time we open it when we come to this house but every time I travel down to this house, I can hear the family in the parlour but all of a sudden, I hear my mother talking to my sister. I walk into them my mom with my sister Eliza sitting by the fire. Slowly walking to my mother to give her a kiss on her forehead but get her long brown hair that is flowing down her shoulders. My mother is talking to my sister about potential marriage to someone in the village, that's why I'm here my sister upcoming Engagement is drawing close they arranged marriages for my sister when she was at the age of 15 to the wealthiest family.
I cannot get that beautiful girl out of my head. I wonder if she went back to her wedding or her father actual meant what he said to her. For the past few hours have past I been sitting by the fireplace and I was not sure about how much that the girl took my breath away just by looking at her. Her face was white as snow and her eyes where bright blue with freckles around her nose and checks. Her brown hair that was that long it was coming out of her hairdo like she was trying to take it out before I seen her. Then I can hear a voice coming from the distance. My mother trying to get my attention. "Tristian can you listen to me", I looked up at my mother and see her standing in front of me in her long red ballgown. I suddenly replied to her
"sorry mother I think I fell asleep", she looked at me with a strange look on her face. She said "Are you coming to the ball or not as the carriage is coming shortly", I then jumped out of the satin chair and went to my room and got my attire on as I walked down the stairs my mother and sister where waiting in the foyer. I nodded at them and we walked out the house into the carriage.
While sitting in the carriage I asked my mother what we are attending the ball for. My mother said, "a young lady was supposed to have gotten married today but apparently she walked from the wedding, one of my ladies was telling me". My mother and her gossip but I could not help but think is this the lady I seen earlier Anne.
We sat in the carriage talking, my mother was explaining to Eliza if she ever done that, she could never have her back into her household. My sister and her future husband have been friends before their arrangement happened. My sister with her brown red hair was sitting on her shoulders and her brown eyes looking at my mother, saying "I'll never do that". As the carriage got closer to the house, I noticed a bunch of trees while riding up the path.
We got out the carriage I escorted my mother up the stairs as the only man at the house it was my job to escort my mother in. It would have been my father, but he stayed in London for a few more nights as of work. He is a businessman and had over a few shops across England so we would be traveling up and down while my mother and sister would be traveling from London to the midlands.
We continued to walk up the stairs to this house it was quite big. Bigger than our house my mother said, "there the richest family in this part of England and we need to make an impression as they have a few daughters for you". I looked at her and explained "Mother, I told you before that I would like to make my own choice for a wife or any decisions on my future". She sighed and we entered this big house and as we walked in people were chatting while drinking and I looked around the house after leaving my mother and sister talking to their fellow friends. I carried on looking around and I walked on to the patio.
It was still light sun was setting the sky was bright and orange. As I was looking out at the garden there, she was the young lady I had seen earlier. She looks so different to how she looked earlier. I decided to walk down to where she was to introduce myself. I walked closer to her and then she turned around and said, "10 here I come", as she said that she walked right into me. "OH, I'm so sorry sir", her head was down, and she was raised her head her face changed "it's you, from earlier Mr". I then cut her off "Tristian you can call me Tristian", she nodded. Her face changed from shocked to a smile. I said "May I call you Anna", she replied with a simple yes and then a young girl came out and said "Anna are you still going to play with us", she replied to this young girl by saying "is it ok for you to take over for me Doris", the young girl with curly locks with brown hair smiled and ran off. I know from then we spoke majority of the evening we spoke about different things from where we have travelled and what we like to read or do when were free. She was telling me that's she's one of the eldest in her family there where about 6 siblings and that she was the third eldest and that her older brothers have been betrothed and married from the ages of 18 and the children she was playing with was her youngest siblings and her nieces and nephews. We sat on a bench by the little pond by her house. We looked at each other continuing the conversation. Then as watching the sun set, I looked at her but all I wanted to do was giver her lips one kiss. But I could not give her a kiss as in this society we live in it was rude to steal a kiss from a young lady.
