Emerald's P.O.V

I woke up and sighed as I stretched. I brushed through my hair and Ruby did also. I changed into gray leggings, a green sweater and my black Dr.Martens. I pulled my hair up into a messy bun. Ruby changed into a red crop sweater, black leggings and her black Dr.Martens. We walked out of our room and to the kitchen. We grabbed our bags and said goodbye to mom. We made our way out of the apartment building on this cold December morning. We walked with Theo and Liam to school and entered the building. I began stretching with some of the other girls and laughed at some joke one of them were telling. Class had begun and it went really well, besides the fact that everyone is talking about Starlight and how it comes out this Friday.

"The movie is probably going to suck," Eve snickered.

"I heard it's three hours long," Kai chuckled.

"Y'all are just jealous you aren't in a movie," Evan chuckled.

I smiled up at Evan, "Thanks dude."

"No problem," Evan smiled.

Time passed and soon it was time for Matilda, during C Block. I went to the bathroom and changed into a black tube top and white ripped skinny jeans. I took my hair down and smiled at myself before making my way to class. I spotted Ruby in a black jeans and a red, white and yellow striped cropped turtleneck. We went to our class room and Ruby gave me 'The Look'.

"Child no," I groaned.

"I'm Henry the 8th I am," Ruby smirked.

"Henry the 8th I am, I am," I continued.

"I got married to the widow next door," Ama yelled from across the stage.

"She's been married seven times before," Amethyst screamed from risers.

"And every one was an Henry," Liam smiled from the front row.

"HENRY!" We all yelled, out of the cast that new the song.

"She wouldn't have a Willy or a Sam," Liam smirked.

"NO SAM!" We all yelled.

"I'm her eighth old man, I'm Henry," Jake laughed from backstage.

"Henry the eighth I am!" We all sang.

"Sometimes I question you all," Jon chuckled as he walked into the theater.

I stood up and walked over to Theo, "Hey."

"Hey," He smiled as he leaned in to kiss me.

I kissed his cheek and released a sigh.

"Emerald, what's going on?" Theo asked, confused.

"I," I sighed, "I think we should just be friends."

"What?" Theo asked, "Why?"

"I'll be leaving in February to film and I don't want to lose you then, I want to keep this friendship that we have Theo," I explained.

"I understand but," Theo started, "I don't want to lose you."

"You won't," I smiled.

Class began and we went through the run of the show as much as we could since our show is the week after our Les Mis contract ends. Class ended and soon everyone but people who were in Musical Theater Workshop made their way out of the theater.

"So what were you talking about with Theo?" Ruby asked.

"We broke up," I shrugged.

"Wait...what?!" Ruby exclaimed.
