Third person P.O.V.
It was amazing, how triggering past memories and a few failures can bring back down even the most cheerful of people. Someone who seemed so full of emotion, now showed none to those who were close to him, but not because he didn't have any, on the contrary, he was full of emotions, those that tare you down from the inside and can change a person in a few moments that to some people seem insignificant. Izuku Midoriya didn't make his presence noticeable during dinner, sharing only sounds that signified a simple 'yes' or 'no', and as soon as he wasn't obligated to stay in that position, he left, only to cry himself to sleep, his thoughts constantly changing from all that he thought he didn't deserve to the comments he received before U.A. that now seemed to be closer to the truth everyday, with his actions being the proof to those accusations. However, he didn't seem to understand that those closest to him, would only worry even more because of this, and it was the last thing he wanted.
Uraraka P.O.V.
Deku was constantly invading my mind, even before the night I had knocked on his door, but now, I couldn't help but believe that my reason now was far more serious than the simple crush that it was before, even if I tried to deny it. No, now I was terrified of what was happening to him, even if the person that I had fell in love with was still there, it wasn't the same. His eyes didn't hold the shining of determination that they used to, and were surrounded by dark circles that took the life away from his face, as well as his paler skin and slumped body posture, as if it was ready to give up. The only thing that remained constant was the pure heart that he held, always looking out for others before himself, and that is still one of the things that I admire about him, but whenever I thought of him it was now accompanied by worry and fear. But I still fell to sleep with Deku on my mind.
I am walking to my dorm quite late at night, only to be stopped by a text sent directly to my phone, but I couldn't read it, yet it filled my entire body with fear and made my body launch itself towards the boys area of the dorm, my brain not fully understanding why, but my body acting on its own. I was walking at a fast pace and all I hear is a loud thud come from one of the rooms from the boys as if something, or rather someone fell. I quickly go to where the sound originated from and waste no time in opening the door, but the name of the owner of this room was blank, without being able to identify it. There was no one in the room, but I hear the tap running and make my way towards the bathroom door and rapidly knock on it screaming out a name that was muffled and incomprehensible. I am only interrupted by a wet feeling on my feet, and I look down to be met with a pool of a mixture of a warm crimson liquid and water. I try to open the door, but it has weight on it, banging on it desperately, only to shoot up into a sitting position on my bed, with cold sweat covering my entire body.
I try to calm down and splash my face with cold water and go back to sleep, hoping to not return to that nightmare, even if it did seem to hold higher meaning than my regular dreams and less regular nightmares, I didn't want to have to face that horrible experience again. I woke up, but this time being interrupted from my sleep by my alarm clock, ready to face another day of school, even if at this point, it all felt as if the passing of time was a weird phenomenon that jumbled up all that would happen in a day, before getting a weekend and repeating the process, a routine we all became accustomed to. A normal morning routine with normal boring classes that all then later led to lunch, were once again Deku left earlier because he had already finished. This time, I was not liking the new routine. But I wasn't the only one noticing it, in fact, pretty sure the entire class saw it, but only a few of us gave it major importance.
Iida P.O.V.
Once again, Midoriya leaves early for lunch early, but this time, I decide to speak up to the rest of us about it, as my concern for why he is doing so was very high at this point. "Does anyone know why Midoriya is leaving so early to class? I understand if it is for his studies, but I don't know if it is the case right now." Todoroki just looks straight into my eyes and says "He is avoiding us" and resumed his lunch as if his words meant nothing. Why? That was my only current thought in my head, as it didn't make sense for him to be avoiding us, we are friends rather than mere acquaintance ever since our second day at U.A. and his behavior is also out of character for him, it is evidently clear in his physical appearance. "I don't know why Iida, but I have a feeling it is more complex than what he shows." states Yaoyorozu as if she read my mind. Even if she had become part of our close friend group not long ago, it was clear than even outsiders could tell the difference between the Midoriya we used to know, and the one that was now heading to class.
The bell that signals the end of lunch urges us to go back into the classroom, were I right down my notes and listen to everything that the teacher to stood in front of us had to say, even if it was loud and obnoxious English class. However, once the day ends after mister Aizawa's class, we all start to head out, but something he said piqued my interest. "Problem child, stay behind, the rest of you can go back to the dorms." I didn't understand why, but all I hoped was that my friend wasn't in trouble.
Heyoo, expect an upload even later today cause its double. So yeah, it isn't that big of a cliffhanger and this was a none Deku chapter P.O.V. and I really liked it, especially with the inclusion of Iida. Be ready, cause in about 3 hours there will be another chapter. I missed this. Until then, take care.
