Avoid

Chapter 36

    I woke up to him sat on the edge of his bed with a sketch pad and pencil in hand.
   I admired him whilst he wasn't aware...
So I thought...
    "Having a good ogle at me there?"
  "I... umm... how did you know?"
   "The mirror?" He pointed.
      I couldn't help but blush and giggle I'd been caught.
He lifted his brow "Finished now then I take it?"
    I shook my head sitting up and sat in his lap. He put his sketch pad and pencil down placing his strong arms around my waist. Then I dragged my eyes down his body checking him out.
    "Naughty! You need to stop that or else we won't make it to the zoo." He said in a hot rough voice in my ear.
   "Stop what?" I asked innocently.
     "Don't play daft. You raking your eyes down my body... I could see the naughty thoughts in your eyes."
      I bit my lip ... he brought his lips to mine biting down on it too to release it from my teeth.
I kissed him then sucked his lip.
   "Hmm Lacey."

He lifted me off him passing me a cup of coffee.
"What were you drawing?"
    He slid is sketch pad to me. I opened it to the last page he'd drawn on.
      "Teo that's soo clever... now I get why you noticed me straight away staring at you." I giggled.
     He'd drawn me as a reflection in the mirror laid in bed asleep. It was really effective and remarkable.
     "You've really got quite the eye for detail.. it's amazing. You make me look pretty."
   "Your more than just pretty Lacey, your beautiful. Anyway go get a shower stink then we will set off."

    Mateo drove us to the zoo. On the way he'd sing songs his voice I could listen to all day. When I'd sing he'd tease me asking if there was a bird squeaking in the car. I was so excited and couldn't wait to see the animals I practically jumped out the car before he'd parked.
   "Excited much?" He said while wickedly grinning.
I ran up to him grabbing his hand pulling him to the entrance.
      I tried to pay for my ticket but he wasn't having any of it. His fingers intertwined mine.. I couldn't feel any happier! I felt like he was mine and I was his. Like a normal couple.
     He wanted to see the lions and tigers first. They were mesmerising the way they moved around. Teo got a good sketch of a couple of them. We laughed at the meerkats peering around.
    We took some selfies as we walked through different parts of the zoo. We played a game seeing who could spot all the birds on the information board.
    Teo had me in stitches when we was with the monkeys doing impressions. We took selfies pulling silly faces. It didn't matter what dam face he pulled he still looked absolutely gorgeous unlike me. We got to hold a chimpanzee it was the cutest thing, like ever! When it come to my turn he snapped a few photos saying he was going to sketch it.
    "Oh my god Teo... the giraffes! Look!" I ran over like the big child I am. Asking the zookeeper if I could feed one.
      I held out some food and the giraffe came over I was in awe. It's tongue wrapped around it and started to eat it. It was one of my favourite animals. I turned to find Teo sketching me... I didn't mind I'd love to see it with this beautiful animal. When he'd done he came over to stroke them and captured my mouth in a searing hot kiss. My body melted into his as he held me.
    We was looking at the baby rhinos when I thought I heard someone say something to me.
   "Excuse me..." I heard the woman's voice then I felt the tap on my shoulder.
      I turned and realised the woman standing in front of me was the woman from the hospital who'd lost her baby. Teo looked a little confused to what was going on..
   "Hi Claire... "
      "You remembered my name. I didn't think you'd remember, I thought it was you it's Lacey right?"
I nodded.
    "I just wanted to thank you for how supportive you and your colleague was. I really appreciated it I never got to say at the time."
   "You don't need to thank me, Joseph was so beautiful."
Her eyes were glossy.. "You remembered his name..."
      "Of course, he was the cutest little baby. If you ever need to chat please give us a ring anytime."
She smiled appreciatively...
"Thank you Lacey. You'll make a brilliant midwife."
She hugged me and I smiled...
    "I'll leave you with your boyfriend. You have a diamond there look after her."
      I suddenly blushed not knowing what to say as she'd just put a label on us.
He wrapped his arm around my waist.
"I know she is and I will. Take care!" He answered her for me not correcting her.
   "Take care Claire! Bye." I waved.

      When we was out of earshot I apologised to him. He told me to stop being silly and told me there was no point correcting her.
     We spent practically the whole day at the zoo. Holding hands, laughing, kissing, he would hold me close telling me how beautiful I was.
   I never wanted this day to end.
"Thank you so much Teo for the best day!" I beamed kissing him on his cheek.
  "Thank you for coming and making it the best."
     We headed home talking about our most favourite bits of today. I sent him the photos I'd taken.

We stopped at a restaurant on the way back. I couldn't quite believe my luck that I was sat across from this amazing talented mysterious man. My mind wondered thinking of him naked above me making love to me, what it would be like.
"Lacey your eyes are giving you away."
I coughed nearly choking on my water,"Sorry what?"
"You know what, behave." He quirked an eyebrow.
"What if I don't behave? Will you make love to me then?" My cheeks stained pink.

He took a deep breath eyeing me carefully.
"If you don't behave I'll smack that sexy ass of yours."
"I'd like that." I smiled playfully tugging my bottom lip with my teeth.
He chuckled shaking his head.

We enjoyed our food...  but I was eager to get back I was ready and needed him.
