Taeil watched silently as you played the cello, his brown eyes glued on you as you became lost in the music that you were creating.
To Taeil, the song sounded quite sad.
Pain.
That is what he felt from hearing what you were playing and he couldn't help but wonder how someone as beautiful as you can have enough sadness to create something so depressingly beautiful.
You stopped playing suddenly, looking up.
You looked so worn out. Tired and Taeil hated that because you were so beautiful.
Inside and out, you were beautiful, your soul was beautiful and to Taeil, you had to be an angel sent to earth.
Taeil saw no flaws in you so he couldn't understand why whenever you were alone, your face was filled with a sadness you've never shown to anyone.
You sat silently for a bit before getting up from the chair, beginning to pack up your things.
Taeil bit his bottom lip as a thought passed through his mind.
Deciding to go with it, he left out through the back way of the storage room he was in and made his way to the front door of the room you were in.
~~
You looked up behind you, your ears perking up at the sound of doors opening.
A young man with dyed red hair came into the room.
You recognized him from around campus and he was even in one of your classes but you seemed to have forgotten his name.
"Oh? I didn't know someone was in here. I'll leave." he said before turning around back to the entrance.
"No, it's fine." you smiled, straighten up and giving your full attention to him. "I was just about to leave anyway."
"Oh." he looked passed you and at your cello, than back at you.
"So you play the cello?" he asked and you nodded, your smile turning sheepish.
"Yeah. It's a really beautiful instrument. I feel as though it doesn't get enough love."
The man nodded in agreement.
"You're right about that."
"You know," he started, "I play the piano."
You laughed slightly.
"Oh I know. You're one of the best singers and pianist at this school."
He blushed from your compliment, smiling and laughing.
"You know, I know who you are cause you know, we share a class together and you're always performing around campus but I just don't remember your name." you said, titling your head.
The man laughed once more.
"It's Taeil."
You nodded.
"I'm Y/n."
"I know. I mean, how can I forget someone as gifted as you?" he said which caused you to look away.
"I'm not that talented."
Taeil shook his head.
"If you weren't talented, you wouldn't be at this school."
You heard footsteps and soon felt a hand under your chin, motioning your head to gently look at Taeil.
"Don't bring yourself down." he said, his thumb rubbing your chin. "You're amazing at what you do. You're a gifted cellist and an amazing singer. Just because our classmates can't see it doesn't mean you aren't."
You gulped, your body grew warm at his words and his close proximity.
He removed his hand, a warm smile on face.
"I'm probably keeping you from wherever your leaving off to so I'll let you continue packing up." he said, walking off and taking a seat the piano bench.
You turned around and started putting away your instrument when a thought popped up into your head.
You turned back around to look at Taeil who seemed to be lost in thought.
"I mean, besides seeing my cello, how do you even know that I'm a gifted cellist? I only ever play in class or by myself in here since not a lot people come to this side of the building. We only have a singing class together..."
Taeil was broke out of his thoughts, looked over at you and smiled.
"I heard you playing earlier before I came in and from what I've heard of what you were playing, you're really amazing."
You nodded, satisfied with his answer.
It made sense.
Turning back around, you put your things away, grabbed your book bag and case.
"See you tomorrow in class." you smiled at Taeil gave one back in return.
"See you tomorrow." he responded as you soon walked out the room.
Once Taeil thought you were far enough, he started giggling like crazy.
That was the first conversation he ever had with you and it went well.
It went better than he expected.
He covered his mouth, trying to contain his laughter, his happiness.
He was closer to finally having you and he couldn't stop the excitement he felt from knowing that soon you'll be in his arms.
