Fire boy and water girl

So...you tryna become a vegan cowboy?

  Percy, Annabeth, Grover and Tyson ended up staying the night.

    Me and Annabeth shared a room, Nico and Tyson shared the second and Percy and Grover stayed in the living room.

   I felt weird sharing a bed with a girl I barely knew, but Annabeth seems nice and smart.

  "You look really familiar." She told me. "Where are you from?"

   "Nowhere specifically, I'm in the foster care system and I've ran away a couple of times. "

   "Oh." Was all she said as she went to bed immediately, but I couldn't sleep. Who could I possibly reminded her of?

   The next morning me and Nico walked everybody down to the cattle gaurd to say goodbye.

   "You two could come with us you know." Percy blurted and I shook my head, Nico doing the same.

     His eyes were red and he looked chalky as he stood in one of Geryon's old robes.

    " I need time to think." Was the only thing Nico said before walking away.

    I gave them a sad look and said "I don't have any training and I can't leave him."

   Annabeth nodded at me and put her hand on my shoulder.

   "I'm worried about him, if he starts talking to Minos ghost again-" Eurytion interrupted her.

   "He'll be alright ," Eurytion said. "They can stay here until Nico's gathered his thoughts, they'll be safe. I promise."

   "What about you." Percy asked Eurytion.

   "Things are going to be run a little different in this ranch from now on. No more sacred cattle meat. I'm thinking about soy bean patties. And I'm going to befriend those flesh-eating horses. Might just sign up for the next rodeo."

    "Good luck." Said Percy.

    "Yep." Eurytion spit into the grass. "I reckon you'll be looking for Daedalus's workshop now?"

    Annabeth's eyes lit up. "Can you help us?"

   I zoned out everything that they were saying and looked at the red cows, they looked like the Mushroom cows from Minecraft.

   I only looked back when I heard Annabeth scream and drop a robot spider.

    "Spider!" She screamed and I tried not to laugh. She's been nothing but nice to me.

    "She's, um, a little scared of spiders," Grover explained. "That old grudge between Athena and Arachne."

   "Oh." Eurytion looking embarrassed. "Sorry, miss."

    The spider scrambled to the cattle guard and disappeared between the bars.

   "Hurry," Percy said. "That thing's not going to wait for us."

  "Bye guys." I said and they gave quick replies and left.

  Me and Eurytion started walking back to the lodge and I said. "So...you tryna become a vegan cow boy?" And gave my signature cheeky smile.

   All he did he's raise his eyebrow and give me a questionable look.
