     I sat with Percy and Tyson at the Poseidon table eating dinner.  The sunset over Long Island Sound was beautiful and I was getting used to camp.

   The plates give endless food and the cups give you any beverage you wanted. I decided to stick with regular coke after I tried to make weird assortments of sodas that didn't taste good.

   I'd meet a couple people already too, like the Stoll brothers, Will Solace and Charles Beckendorf, some of the the Aphrodite girls even dragged into a make over. I hated every second of it but it was something that somehow cheered them up.

     The only thing I didn't like about camp was that Nico didn't want to stay but I didn't want to go. He'd already been offered to stay at the Hermes cabin and even at the head table with Chiron but he didn't want too.

   When dinner was over, everybody left to the sing along but I saw Nico enter the woods.

     I followed him and Percy started to follow me without saying anything.

     I was scared as I ventured into the woods as it got dark. Memories flashing of the battle yesterday and all the monsters.

   I eventually saw Nico with a glow up ahead. I got closer with Percy walking next to me and realized it's Bianca.

   She smiled at Nico, tried to touch his face and faded.

   He turned and saw us.

   "Saying good bye." Was all he said.

   "We missed you at dinner, you could've sat with me" I said.

    "No." And my heart sank.

   "Nico, you can't miss every meal. If you don't want to stay with Hermes, maybe they can make an exception and put you in the Big House. They've got plenty of rooms." Percy said.

    "I'm not staying." And he wouldn't meet my eye.

"You...you can't just leave." I said

    " It's too dangerous out there for a lone half-blood. You need to train." Percy finished

   "I train with the dead," he said flatly.

   "This camp isn't for me. There's a reason they didn't put a cabin to Hades here. He's not welcome, any more than he is on Olympus. I don't belong. I have to go."

   I wanted to argue but I couldn't. I was to scared to leave without more training but knew he was right.

    "When will you go?" I asked voice cracking.

   "Right away. I've got tons of questions. Like who was my mother? Who paid for Bianca and me to go to school? Who was that lawyer guy who got us out of the Lotus Hotel? I know nothing about my past. I need to find out." That was something I understood, wanting to find answers of your past.

   "Makes sense," I admitted. "But you'll visit me, right?"

   "I'll try, I promise."

He lowered his gaze and said to Percy

    "I'm sorry I was a brat Percy. I should've listened to you about Bianca."

   "By the way..." Percy fished something out of his pocket. "Tyson found this while we were cleaning the cabin. Thought you might want it."  He held out a little figurine toy.

    "I don't play that game anymore. It's for kids."

   "It's got four thousand attack power," He coaxed.

  "Five thousand," Nico corrected. "But only if your opponent attacks first." Percy smiled but I was so confused, it was like they spoke another language.

    "Maybe it's okay to still be a kid once in a while." And he tossed him the statue.

    Nico studied it in his palm for a few seconds, then slipped it into his pocket.

   "Thanks."Percy put out his hand and shook it with Nico.

    When they were done I attacked Nico with a hug, "stay safe."

  "I will, I've got a lot of things to investigate," he said. "Some of them...Well, if I learn anything useful, I'll let you know."

   "See you around." And he turned and trudged off into the woods.

    The shadows seemed to bend toward him as he walked, like they were reaching out for his attention.

   A voice behind me rang, "There goes a very troubled young man."

  Me and Percy turned around and found Dionysus standing there, still in his black suit.

   "Walk with me," he said looking at Percy. "Abigail Jefferson you should get going."

   It toke me a second to realize he was talking to me but I walked away mumbling. "It's Adelaide Johnson."

  ***so I know it's Jackson not Johnson but I wrote this, fell asleep and when I woke up, realized it was different and laughed. Now I don't want to change it cause it has Dionysus chaotic energy lol.***
