Author's Note: A HUGE thank you to my Puerto Rican friend Lobo for translating the Colón sisters lines for me!!
Filing out of the base, everyone silently moved into formation while the smaller group of civilians stayed behind to retreat underground. Every mutant with cloaking capabilities took position around the edges of the oval, swiftly weaving together likely the largest cocoon of tightly knotted energy any of them would ever see.
Upon making their way to the shoreline, the Colón sisters made their way into the waters only stopping when the water reached their shoulders. The rest of the army watched as the twins grew vines and trees into an unbelievably large floating island of roots and leaves. As the island continued to grow outward the soldiers hurried out to it before the telekinetics started pulling it to sea.
Felix watched the newly formed island until it's out of sight before returning to the base. Meeting up with Marzia at the back end of the hideout, they slide down into the secrete door leading to the underground den. Helping with final preparations, Marzia signals for the few remaining mutants to open their portals and start sending the parents with infants through first.
Carefully helping send pairs of people through, Marzia couldn't help but wonder if the deep bunkers of Florida will truly be big or safe enough for the remaining civilians of all remaining allied groups. Her mind raced with what they would do if their friends don't arrive on the Florida shores in victory. How they'll survive if the Incipiency wins.
Felix' hand softly squeezing her shoulder finally pulled her back to the present allowing her to realize it's finally time to leave. Holding their children close, his smile brings her peace and reassurance as they pass through the portal. All they can do now, is wait and have faith in their friends.

At the front of the island Y/N stood tall beside the Colón twins among the telekenetics, focusing on safely moving their troops out to open water. Seán stood by her side, a supportive hand resting on her shoulder as Chase intertwined Duke's energy of redirection into his friend's shields. Mark and Amy sit anxiously beside their friends, their teammates at their backs. While they rest their eyes in an attempt at meditation, the tight squeeze of their clasped hands remaining the only thing keeping their panic at bay.
Venus lay beside Sam near the middle of the island with the other civilians turned soldiers. Sam couldn't help but wonder what would happen to them, as part of the most vulnerable fighters present. Weather or not they would die today, if his death would actually mean something, or be nothing but pointless and painful as Beth's had been. The warmth of Venus' hand squeezing his wrist pulled him from his thoughts, allowing him to try and calm his mind. Maybe, he hoped, maybe they could win. Maybe they would survive together, and build a better world.
When the time finally came they arrived above the darkest depths of the ocean, Caroline and the elders lined the back edge of the island. Uniting their energy to re-create some of the creatures from Subnautica. Floaters suddenly forming along the make shift island stabilized it, allowing the telekenatics to release their hold.
This is where everything could end.
As soon as they release the island the sisters slammed a burst of energy into the island, exploding it's growth out further and further while the elders continued to attach larger and larger floaters. After several minutes of growth Caroline motioned for the cloak to be dissolved. She watched the web dissipate before sending out an enormous and undisguised signal to call our allies together.
