The shonian rescue pt.1

Hi I'm Max. My friend Lane and I are 13. One sunny day, I woke up, got dressed, brushed my teeth and ate breakfast. I walked past my mom who said,"I hope you pass the test today sweetie.'' "Thanks mom" I replied, confidently as I went out the door. As I was going to the bus stop I found my friend lane standing there waiting. We got on the bus together and sat in a seat That, was in the middle of the bus. Lane said, "hi Max, are you ready for the test Mr.shaun is going to give us?" I replied, "yeah this test is gonna be so easy that I will be done in 2 minutes" when school was over we walked to the park and we noticed something strange..... A rock was next to the bench. "That rock wasn't there before" lane said. I went to go investigate and a creature was hiding under it, trembling in fear. "Don't be afraid" lane said. "We are good people."the creature eventually settled down and we spoke to it, "what's your name?" "Carnon" whispered the creature.
"Well nice to meet you Carnon" lane said, calmly. Carnon was only 3" tall and was a lemur type creature."will you help me save my world from the evil, galatimore?" I was brave and said, "sure if you need help we can go. right lane?" Lane looked confidant and nodded. "Alright then well let's go save shonian!" I declared. even though I was really confused, I knew something bad was happening........
