"I'm listening.." Tsukishima said looking at the freckle faced boy. Yamaguchi bit his lip ang sighed.
"Well, my dad and I moved to America after the field trip. He made me get a job and go to school. Which was really stressful. And he'd always hit me." Yamaguchi explained looking down at his knees. Yamaguchi continued explaining what happened for another hour before Tsukishima asked him something.
"So what happened to your dad?" the blonde asked. Yamaguchi looked up at him.
"He was shot on his way home from work and died instantly a few months ago." Yamaguchi answered.
'Karma's a bitch." Tsukishima thought to himself smiling. He shouldn't be happy that his old boyfriends father died but he was. Even though he would've preferred for him to suffer for the rest of his life... Tsukishima leaned into the blonde and pressed their lips together.
"Can you stay here with me tonight?" Yamaguchi asked. Tsukishima looked at him and grinned.
"Of course." Tsukishima answered wrapping his arms around Yamaguchi's waist and placing his head on his shoulder. They soon fell asleep snuggling under the covers.
A few Years later
Tsukishima and Yamaguchi finally moved in together. They live in a medium sized apartment and are happier then ever. They regularly meet up with their old teammates and go out together.
