Hello, I'm Y/N. I've had a crush on my best friend since we first met in the 5th grade. Tomorrow is my first time seeing her after quarantine started. I was excited but also nervous. The thing is, I have been in denial since fifth grade, I always thought it wasn't a crush. I used to think of her as if I had just admired her a LOT. I was nervous I would accidentally let myself go. I mean I'm sure she is very straight, and I didn't want to say anything that would change things between us. I tried to let it go. My style had completely changed ever since quarantine started, so I am sure she's going to be a little shocked. I went from sort of what you'd call and e-girl to a complete softie and I'm talking strawberry pink softie. Although we had facetime every day, my heart was beating as if it were about to bounce out of my chest.

The night before I came across, to this TikTok Video, it was a girl kissing her best friend and getting the most wholesome reaction back. I couldn't help but click the sound looking for more. I spent about 3 whole hours just scrolling through those videos. I felt so happy, but then I remembered there's a really low chance of this happening to me and Lisa. I fell asleep to the sound of the same video playing over and over again.

The next morning, I got up and showered, and freshened up. I changed into something cute, just a plain pastel pink skirt & a white tight crop top. I packed some pajamas, just in case I decided to a sleepover. I took one of my strawberry masks and put them into the bag, just in case we wanted to go out. I walked out of my house giving my mom a big hug. I got into my car and turned the GPS on to her place. The closer I got the more my heart raced. No matter how hard I tried to calm myself down it just got worse. "Dramatic, right?" I said to myself, as I quietly sighed.

[ ♡︎ Lisa's POV ]

Fuck. Fuck. I said as I read her text message. She's on her way. I was panicking. I've been in love with her for so long. I'm trying so hard to keep cool. Oh lord. I had changed so much since I last saw her. Although it's just been 6 months, It feels like a whole year. I really wanted to confess to her. I wanted to tell her how I felt. "ugh, Lisa now isn't the time to think about this." I said to myself. I finished tidying up my room and want downstairs to wait for her.

I had been watching these videos of girls kissing their best friends. I wanted to try it on her so bad. I mean what could go wrong? I stood up and drunk some water, and tried to clear my mind. That's when I heard my doorbell ring.

I walked towards the door and opened slowly. I looked down at her and felt my cheeks heat up. She looks so different, and so much shorter.

[ ♡︎ Y/N's POV ]

I saw her open the door. I looked up. Wow. She looked so different but somehow is still so breathtaking. I felt my whole face heat up. Gosh.

She opened the door. I got lost in her eyes before  Lisa took me into her arms and hugged me.

"baby! I missed you so much!" She spoke out.

I blushed at her words but took no time to hug her right back.
"I missed you so much more" I quietly responded.
She then let go of me and lead me into her room. I smiled and followed.
"You finally cleaned your room!" I giggled, looking around her room.
"Yup, just for you." She said, then quickly corrected herself "I-i mean, for the occasion"
"Hm, okay!" I smiled.
Why did she also seem as nervous as me? I brushed it off not wanting to excite myself for no reason.

We spent most of the time cuddling and watching TikTok's on her bed. Until the song came up. Fuck, I forgot that the TikTok algorithm is a thing. I hoped she didn't notice and tried to scroll.

"What was that?" I somehow manage to hear her smirk.
"Oh, it's just some dumb trend.." I responded nervously.

[ ♡︎ Lisa's POV ]

"Oo show me! I said knowing exactly what it was. I knew because yesterday, I was on her account check if she had any new content and accidentally swiped to see her liked videos, and it was just a bunch of "best friends" kissing.

"We can recreate it, imagine if we go viral?!" I giggled mischievously. I noticed she tried to swipe and look for another video. I grabbed her phone before she could and played the video. No surprise. Two female best friends about to kiss. I smirked

"What if we pretend to recreate. We can set up the phone and stuff and cut the video right before anything can happen." That wasn't my plant tho. I was actually hoping to kiss her. I mean, if anything bad goes on I can just say it was an accident and that I didn't mean to get THAT close? 

"Pretty please..?" I made THE puppy eyes I knew she couldn't resist.

"Fine!" She offered me her phone but I wanted to use mine instead.

I set up my phone and even pretended to cut the sound before the beat dropped.

I put on the bling effect and set the countdown to 10 seconds. I noticed that she was blushing like crazy.

3–2–1

I sat there and stared at her. I started leaning in. She followed along.

I was so distracted I even closed my eyes to make it more real. That's when it hit me.

I felt her soft warm lips pressed against mine. I didn't know how to react. I was shocked. She pulled away from the peck and made a slight pout at my reaction and was about to stop the video. I snapped back into reality I stopped her hand from stopping the video and grabbed her face. Pulling her back into me. There it was. That feeling again. I felt safe and so comfortable. Her lips fit right with mine. Her hand on my cheek holding me near her. It was all happening in slow motion. As the song played over and over again. She got more and more passionate every time the song replayed. That's when I realized, I don't like her...

I love her.
