Hinata walked into that stadium, he felt as powerful as a lion. His golden orange wings fluttering out of pure joy. His best friend, tobio kageyama puts his hand on his the much smaller males shoulder.
"calm down hinata, your wings are going all over the place" he said as he gently pushes the wings down gently.
"but kageyama! We're at the finals! How can I not be excited?!" the small ranga yelled out, earning himself a slap to the back of the head from his captain. Daichi or as the running joke of the team, deadchi.
"its OK to be excited but calm down a little hinata. Seriously." daichi says.
"daichi leave him be" came a voice as sugawara walked up behind them and put his hand on daichi shoulder.
Sugas own wings were out more than normal but it was hard to notice unless you were looking for it. Suddenly the snow white wings flap, lifting suga off the ground and flys around the stadium to let out some energy. Then the short tangerine jumps and lifts himself off the ground flying and what seemed like racing with suga.
Daichi and kageyama watch them and for once, the milk man was smiling at the small orange winged boy. Daichi sees this and smiles gently.
"why don't you join them kageyama?" the captain suggested. Kageyama nods and smiles a little at daichi and lifts off and flys around chasing hinata.
Daichi smiles sadly and starts to warm up while waiting for the others to get there. His own wings covered, there was nothing wrong with them, he just can't fly. You see, daichi is a bird of prey, so as society says 'clip them'
