1300, Philippines.

Two hours had passed ever since we heard that explosion. We have been hiding in the dark, sweating like crazy out of fear and stress. I grimaced as I recall what happened two hours ago.. I just got home then, carrying a bag of groceries, when we heard that strange piercing sound. It broke our windows and made me drop everything on the floor. We hid, almost immediately. Now, everything is calm, but we are still so terrified to even get up from the floor to check outside.

"Hey, you okay?" I gently tapped my little sister on her shoulder. She is beside me now, still trembling from the explosion and I can't seem to calm her down. I don't know what to do, It scares me more because it's just me and her in this world and I should know what to do. She's my responsibility. It's hard to see her face clearly, but I can sense that she's still so freaked out. Who wouldn't?

" Sister, don't you think we should get up and seek help now?" She said in her small voice. I honestly don't know what to expect, or if there are even people outside who we can seek help from. I shuddered thinking about it. I don't want to show my sister that I feel such a coward right now, or that I don't have the guts or the strength to get up. I need to be strong for her. For us.

I got up, and started walking. There are pieces of broken glasses on the floor so I cautiously made my way across our living room to turn on the lights. Thankfully though, the electricity is back. I started to pick up the broken glasses on the floor and tidy things up a bit. I open the door slowly and I saw some of our neighbors outside, talking about what happened. I thought of, asking them if they have a clue, but I just don't know how. I am still in shocked of everything.

I open my laptop to check if some of my friends are online. They are, so I immediately sent a message and I received a reply almost instantly. My friend, Valir, sent an image of this strange looking ship that was found after the explosion. In the picture, its wrecked but, its empty. There were speculations that this might have come from the outer space. According to him, the local authorities are now searching for whoever was inside the ship. Right now , it's all one big question mark.

" Currently, they are advising us to stay at home while the search is ongoing, I will be back later for additional updates, take care, Rikku " Valir logged out.

" YUNAAAAAAAAA " i called out to my sister. I just realized we haven't eaten anything, so I'm gonna ask her what she wanted for lunch " YUNAAAAAAA" I called again. I went upstairs to check on her. She's not in her room, not in the den, I checked all our rooms and she's really nowhere to be found. I hurriedly went outside to look for her. Our parents will haunt me if I lost my sister, especially at a time like this. I drove around our village, and I still can't find her.

I stopped driving, and called out her name. I locked my car, and decided i should just walk around. As i turn, noticed something, I haven't seen this before. I was about to walk towards it, when someone pulled my arm. I looked at my left and i breathe a sigh of relief when I saw it's my sister, tugging my arm, a big toothy grin on her face. I smiled.

" What's up with you? Why are you here? " I asked her. She smiled, ignored my question and pointed at something from a distance. " Big sister, I found a baby! THERE! " as she pointed to this area - the same area I've noticed seconds ago. " A baby?" I raised my eyebrows at her. " Yes! YES! " She excitedly run and I don't have a choice but to follow her.

I managed to catch up to her and saw her carrying a baby in her arms. I can understand as to why my sister is acting like this. It's been a long time since our parents passed away. I think she's feeling lonely because, for the longest time, it's really just the two of us, living together.

" Can we keep her, sis? .. or him, I'm not sure, but, can we? " She asked me. I looked at her and I know I won't be able say no. The baby seemed to have calm her down and she's now acting, as if nothing happened awhile ago.

But, as I peered closely, this baby is weird. It's not cute - at all, it's all wrinkly and it's so tiny. It looked more like a fetus than an actual baby. " Ehrr.. sure" I answered her and pulled her so we can go back home.
