Chapter One

Cree's POV
I am so tensed today, I am auditioning for a movie. After months of doing commercials. My bestie and agent, Riley landed me a movie and it was a movie produced by Mace Higgins, the most popular producer in USA. His movies always hit the blockbuster. My thoughts were interrupted by my mom.

' Cree, Riley is downstairs waiting for you '

I stood up and hugged my mom tightly, I am super nervous right now, mom. What of if...

My mom told me to stay calm, chill and be fabulous.

I smiled. Thanks mom. Tell Riley I will be down in five.

Mom nods and left. I adjusted my jeans and grabbed my black jacket, did my hair in ponytail. I pierced my nose because of this movie to get the gangster look. I hope I really get the part.

I came downstairs and saw Riley chatting with my mom. Riley dropped her cigarette in the ash tray and stood up. Bae looking hot .

I blushed. Thanks Riles.

Riley smirked. No need to blush. I  am not a guy.

I smacked Riley on the head. You do say stupid things at times.

Riley laughed and pecked my mom on the cheek. See ya Claire.

I gasped. Don't be lesby on my mom.
We all laughed as I pecked my mom and left with Riley.

Mace's POV
This new movie ' heartthrob gangster' must be a hit. Riley Pepperman told me her client would be a perfect person for this role. I hope this Cree girl can act this role. After all she's Cree Phillips, America's commercial sweet heart. She's a sweet heart not a gangster. I just decided to let her audition but if she can't act the role, I have no choice than to give it to Paisley Abraham, Hollywood's diva.

My close friend, Gabe Vaughan walked in saying, they are here.

I was confused. Who?

Gabe replied. Cree Phillips and Riley Pepperman.

I beamed. It's about time. I will be with them in two.

I met Gabe talking to two girls. I guess the girl in ponytail is Cree since I knew Riley already.

Riley smiled at the sight of me. Hi Mace. This is my client Cree Phillips.

Cree smiles shyly. Good day Mace.

I shook her hand which was so warm. Nice to meet you Cree.

Riley asked. Isn't Cree hot? I swear she's gonna make your movie a hit.

Gabe replied for me. She's damn hot and if she blows our mind. The role as the leading lady is hers.

Cree blew my mind. For someone who just acts in commercials she was a good actress.

I looked at Cree whose face had turned red due to her nervousness. Cree looked so fragile but tough while acting.

' Ms. Phillips you got the part but I have one problem you are blonde '

Cree was scared. Blonde? That's the nature of my hair.

' Believe me it suits you but for the role as Janelle you have to dye your hair blue '

Cree replied. Is that all? No problem, I will do just that.

' The movie shooting will start in two weeks time in Seattle so Gave will give you your script and I will see if the leading guy, Scott Shuntle will be free to rehearse with you '

Cree's POV

Scott Shuntle? I love all his movies especially ' boxed off '. God that movie was so lit. I can't believe I am gonna be in a movie. If someone had told me a year ago that twenty five year old me was going to star in Mace Higgins  movie I would have taken it as a joke.

I replied to Mace, ok. I'm glad you chose me Sir. I won't let you down.

Mace didn't reply but he walked away.

Riley hugged me tight. Cree baby, I knew you will get this part. I will be head lined ' America's commercial sweet heart stars in a Higgins movie '

Gabe interrupted. Seems you have big dreams for Cree, Riley.

Riley replied almost immediately. Why won't I? She's my bestie. And her future is my future. If she makes it, I make it.

' So am your puppet, huh? '

Riley smacked my hand. Of course you are.

I laugh.

Gabe told us to follow him to get the script. And Riley it won't be head lined America's commercial sweetheart stars in a Higgins movie but ' America's commercial sweetheart hits block Buster's '

Riley and I arrived club 202 which is owned by our other bestie, Wilfred but we call him Wil.

Riley dragged me to meet Wil at a bar who was with a girl who was flirting hard with him or I mean at him. The thing is Wil is gay but damn he is handsome.

Wil smiled at us ignoring the pretty girl in front of him. Hola my senioritas.

I smiled back at Wil. You are looking at a current gangster lady.

Wil jumped. You got the part?

Riley replied. Fucking yeah! She's my client duh.
Wil ordered beers for us. Riley lit a cigarette and started to smoke. You see this is how our friendship, I am the drinker, Riley's the smoker, and Wil is the smoker and drinker. I smoke but once in a while. The last time I smoked was was last year when I got my first tattoo the flower tattoo on my shoulder. Mom freaked but she has to deal with it cos soon I will move to my own apartment.

That night we went crazy that I arrived home 2 am in the morning. Mom freaked cos I was fucking drunk.
