Alrighty, then. ANTI-FEMINISTS. People who are against feminists or feminism. First lets see what feminist means: "A person who believes in the social, political, and economic equality of the sexes.". So, it basically is a person, regardless of gender, who believes that ALL GENDERS CAN BE EQUAL AND STRIVE FOR EDUCATING PEOPLE IN THAT MATTER. Incase you haven't realised, I, Azie, am a batshit crazy feminist. I am however, not a misandrist (a man-hater) or a radical feminist, which can usually mean the same thing.
One of the biggest assumptions about feminists are that we are all short-haired, hairy-armpitted, man-hating lesbians. Feminists can have short hair, hairy armpits, and be lesbians, but feminists DO NOT HATE MEN. We just want to have the same opportunities that they have, which seems a fair deal. Unfortunately, some people hate feminism because they seem to think that feminists are just bitching about random things that have no meaning. As a feminist, I bitch about topics such as slut-shaming, people who are pro-life, sexual harrasment, dress codes, the wage gap between men and women, and people who believe in stupid female stereotypes and gender roles.
I suppose that anti-feminists are just misinformed and ungrateful. They think that feminists do nothing. When in reality, without feminists women wouldn't be able to vote, have abortions, work in the government, and not just be stay at home babymakers.
Another point that I want to make is that women, men, and people of other genders should be able to do whatever that want, as long as it isn't hurting anyone. Women don't have to shave their legs and wear make up, but they can. Men can shave their legs, and wear make up, I'm cool with that, and they also don't have to. Women can be stay-at-home moms, or run their own buisness, and the same goes for men.
Basically, I'm chill with everyone being equal, and thats that. -Azie =^.^=
