Chapter 6

  Rose had fallen asleep out in the cold desert, thank Ray a patrol didn't notice her. She had just woken up, she had realized where she was.
"Shit...what happened..?" She mumbled, as she didn't remember anything from the previous day. But then it all came back.
   "Oh fuck.." she hopped up and made it back to the run down store she lived in with her brother.

   Once she got there it was dead quiet...too quiet. She looked around and eventually found Switch curled up in his makeshift bed, it had been obvious that he had been crying...but she didn't say anything about it or even wake him up. Rose just sat on the bed and ran her fingers through his soft blue hair.
This was a normal thing for them, they usually slept or sat together. They weren't in love or anything, that would be weird...they just kind of relied on each other for comfort.

  It was sort of an unspoken rule of theirs, if they hurt each other in any way, you gotta make up for it some how..it just try to ignore it. Most of the time they ignored it but Rose really wanted to make up for her many mistakes...leaving him behind like that for Val was a shitty move for her. They ignored that. Sort of.  She never made up for it...that wasn't good. She had to. It would be the only thing that could stop this never ending cycle of drama between them. They desperately needed it to stop. It was torture for both of them. And they both knew it. But they never did anything about it...

   Switch woke up and looked at his sister, she had fallen asleep on him. He smiled sweetly and pulled her to his chest..she was warm... He also wanted to apologize for lashing out like he did. He never wanted to do that, he had no intentions of hurting Rose in such a way... he wondered why she even came back for him..she had Val.
