Prologue

"I really like him"

My bestfriend, Sofia just rolled her eyes at me as I said those words to her. Can't really blame her, palagi ko namang yong sinasabi sa kanya kapag kasama ko sya. Minsan nga pag nagba bonding kami, out of nowhere sinasabi ko sa kanya na gusto ko si Oliver. Oliver has been my apple of the eye since God knows when. Kaya minsan binabatukan na ako ni Sofia kasi bukam bibig ko palagi.

"Ano bang meron sa lalaki'ng yan Allyson? He's not that handsome naman ah."

"Hindi naman kailangag gwapo para magustuhan ko sya Fia, mabait naman daw si Oliver" depensa ko. Minsan negga din tong kaibigan ko eh, she just snorted.

"Daw? you're not even that sure kung mabait ba sya o hindi. You and your poor judgements Allyson, ewan ko sa'yo"

I just ignored her statements and continued watching Oliver from afar. He is playing badminton together with his team. He is really a well built man, from head to toe fret perfect na perfect! pati boses yummy! I froze a bit when his gaze went to my place.

Nakita nya ba ako?

Oliver's POV

It's her.

How long has she been sitting there?

Bigla akong kinabahan habang naglalaro. Shit! hindi ako pwedeng mag patalo ngayon, she's watching, ayoko mapahiya. I must stay calm and play aggresively but surely.

"Dude, patirahin mo naman ako. Nagmumukha akong design dito eh" Asher, my partner in doubles uttered.

I just couldn't get a hold of myself, I'm trying to be impressive with my skills in badminton in front of her. Its not everyday she'd be sitting there and watch us play.

"Sorry, medjo gigil lang ako ngayon" pagsisinungaling ko.

"Sus, nakatanaw lang bebe girl mo eh, papaimpress ka?" nanunuksong sabi ni Asher. Sinamaan ko lang sya ng tingin.

Ayokong patulan ang panunukso nya, parang babae pa naman ang bibig nito pag nanunukso na, syempre ayoko mapahamak. The game continued, leading us to win against Connor and Brandon, ka team din namin.

"Aggressive ka yata ngayon Oli, lakas humampas eh" komento ni Brandon. I just smiled at him, Asher cough fakely, tiningnan ko sya ng masama.

After that day, i made a decision. I'm gonna get myself close with her, its now or never. Anyways, it's our last year in college na, maybe I can give more of my attention to her this time.

At hindi naman ako nabigo sa desisyon ko, she and I became friends. We also hang out, but mostly kasama friends namin. Mabibilang lang sguro sa daliri ko kung ilang beses kaming lumabas na kami lang.

"I like you" I finally confessed.

I took the opportunity of confessing the day before our graduation. I don't know if I will be seeing her again, of course magiging busy na kami sa careers namin and who knows? baka di ako dito sa Manila mag trabaho, baka di rin sya dito mag work. I'm taking my shot right now, because if it turns the way how I imagined it to be, then I'll gladly make a huge adjustments for us, just so i can see her.

"Are you sure?" she asked, still shocked.

"Yes".

Yumuko sya na tila may inaalala, I stood there in front of her, watching her quietly thinking. I am so nervous, I've never done this before, She's the only girl that really got my attention.

"If you really like me, you'll do everything for me right?" she asked, tears forming in her eyes. I nodded. Damn, anything just to make you happy sweetheart, I'll do anything for you.

Huminga sya ng malalim at nginitian ako, a different smile.

"Then can you do me a favor Oliver?"

Without having any second thoughts, I nodded again.
