Well, you hadn't ended up winning, but you hadn't lost either.

Yep, that's right, you all tied.

"Impossible!" Killua countered, glaring at the two of us as he stared at the examiner. "One of us must've arrived a bit later than the rest, even if it was barely detectable-"

Got put a hand to his chin, thinking. "Hmm... well there must be someway to figure out who that person was..."

The purple haired examiner simply gave us concerning stares, shaking his head. "Well, I'm being honest when I say that I saw all of you arrive at the same instance."

Wanting to end the argument, you put your hands up, grimacing. "How about we bet on something else, like this next phase, whoever does best or whatever."

The two boys glanced at you, nodding curtly as more people began to arrive. Good, another argument evaded. Gon rushed over to two other boys who came rushing out, exhausted as one of them panted.

"Leorio! Kurapika!"

The three of them exchanged a few words as both you and Killua watched. You were about to introduce yourself and try to start a conversation with the new people, but someone caught your eye.

Your brother stood on the edge, along with the needle guy. They seemed to have arrived earlier, although not at the same time like you, Gon, and Killua had.

Tapping your shoulder, Killua looked towards you. "Cmon," he pointed towards the boys Gon was talking to. "Don't zone out, introduce yourself, it'll be less awkward if we both do it."

Right, I almost forgot about that.

You nodded, heading with the white haired boy to introduce yourself. With a wave, you figured it would be better if you started, Killua was probably why when it came to intros, although you wouldn't know.

"Hey, my name is f/n, what about you guys?" You tried to play it cool, accustoming yourself to your deep voice.

The two boys you just met gave you weird looks, probably giving second thoughts to your outfit.

"My name is Kurapika," the blonde haired boy spoke out, slightly taller than you and both Gon and Killua.

"And my name is Leorio," he on the other hand was tall, like really tall. And not to mention he looked much older than the rest.

However, you ended up tilting your head to your side at the last name. "Like... an Oreo?"

"A what?"

He seemed confused by your question, and you chuckled. "Uhm, it's a type of cookie, Oreos. They taste super good, and your name sounds like the brand... so..." you gave a wink, although it wasn't visible with the glasses. "I'll call you Oreo!"

Surprised, he kneeled down to lower himself to your height. "Listen here kid..." he began, sighing as if annoyed. "You can't just randomly call strangers random nicknames just cause you feel like it."

"Actually, I can."

Killua giggled beside you, and Gon snickered at Leorio's expression. Kurapika seemed amused, but didn't comment.

Ah well, Oreo it is.

Killua then introduced himself, just in time for the door that lead to the second stage to start closing. The screams of the participants who had almost crossed the doorway were heard, and you kept your stare levelled.
