Endra’s POV: (Tiger)

“Hey”, I yelled across the school hallway to a group of people near the holographic lockers.

“Are you guys gonna come to my birthday party. We gonna have so much fun! There will be blasting music, crazy effects and experiments. You guys should come!”

I gave my most cheery smile to try and persuade them. I was in a happy mood today.

In unison they all replied “Yeah, obvs, like who wouldn’t want to go?”

“kay, spread this to everyone. Got it. Oh yeah, by the way party starts at 11 tomorrow night (13th of april 5027) and theme is fluorescent!”.

“Sure”, they all replied in unison again.

They fist bumped each other and started texting their other friends.

I really don’t know how they do that…

For the past 20 minutes I’ve been raving on and on about this party to my best friend Astra, and telling everyone they should come. In my school, I’m considered as popular and a LOT emphasizing LOT

“OMG, THIS IS GONNA BE THE BEST PARTY EVERRR!”, I squealed in delight.

“I know, but now we need to go to class, focus on our education because we are the future you know!”

“Oh god, not this again! C’mon loosen up a bit, plus I ALWAYS pass my exams. So no rush kay”, I put on my best puppy face.

“Fine fine, at least you excel in your grades, I can’t even pass a C…”

I felt quite bad for her. She never passed an exam and that is why I became her friend. She was always picked on. Though I might be popular, I have a soft spot for people and seeing her vulnerable like that isn’t a good sight for me to watch. I could call myself a hero but I would rather think of “The most awesome friend someone would ever have” or  a “compassionate saint”.

“Honesty, don’t worry. I’ll help you Astra, you will get better but for now just loosen up a bit and lets go to class”.

I walked in front of her and let my right hand reach out for her.

“Aw come on, let’s go. Don't you want to go?”

She sighed but replied “Okay, let’s go”.

Before we could take a step a girl shorter than me by a bit with charcoal black hair elbowed Astra and kept on walking. Oh it’s Valerie aka selfish most egocentric person in zero. That imbecile, she made her fall…

" No-one likes you Astra, so stop hanging out with Endra. She’s way too out of your league..”

In the hallway, nearly everyone snickered because they were too afraid to stand up to Valerie. Nobody really likes her, she thinks me and her could be BFFS, because we are rich as beautiful..She’s so selfish.

“Hey, don’t worry you are not out of my league, you will be my only best friend”

I smiled that it showed my teeth and Astra smiled back.

“Same here”

After that, the whole time, while linking arms, we walked to class, joked around and  helped “promote” my birthday party event for tomorrow.I really couldn’t stop thinking about it. I have already prepared the setting, thanks to my maid bots, Jilly and Jolly and I have prepared my outfit. It is a simple tight black striped dress made from leather and cotton, black stockings, a pair of hish, metallic space shows that can be activated to fly (it’s made from uranium and iron) and one pair of cool triangular, futuristic glasses. As for my hair I’m having it teased up into a bun, leaving my long-short bangs hanging out, and have some metal headband wrap it. I’m not quite sure how I look but Astra reckons I’m going to look gorgeous because I am tall and my blue streaks pop out from my blonde hair.
