Chapter 28: Closer

TAEHYUNG'S POV

"H-Hyung! I go-gotta go!!!" I yelled, banging on the bathroom door.

"Boi calm your tits! I'm almost done!" Jin hyung replied. The bathroom door opened so I immediately walked in pushing him out.

"YAHHHH!" Jin hyung yelled from the outside. I shrugged and continued washing up, very much excited to see Loriel again.

After a while, I walked out of the room in a towel and saw that the others are already awake and eating breakfast.

"Hi hyungie!" Kookie exclaimed. I chuckled seeing his messed up hair. "Ko-Kookie your ha-hair!" I told him, but the boy didn't care and continued stuffing his face with food. I went to my room to dressed up in some fancy clothes I got from the shoot, which they insisted to be a gift for our hard work.

"Yah! Why are you so early? Where are you going?" Hobi hyung called out. I went back out to grab a bite.

"He's going on a date." Jin hyung intervened before I could answer;making me blush hard. The others stopped eating and whipped their head to my direction, obviously shocked.

"WOAH! WOAH! WOAH! YOU SLY FOX! I thought you're here to look for Loriel! Now you have a girl already?!" Jimin ranted, looking a bit pissed.

"A-Aniya Chim! Li-Liste--"

"Is she that pretty hyung? I liked Loriel for you though." Kookie pouted. I tried to reply, but I was cutted off again.

"Maybe she's a foreigner. The girls here looked hella pretty." Says Hobi hyung.

"Listen up guys! Taehyung's ain't cheating on Loriel. Look how much he prepared for their date today." Jin hyung sipped his coffee and winked my way.

"Wait--"
"WHAT?!?"
"HOLY SHITUEEE!"

I facepalmed at their reactions. I didn't plan on telling them yet because of the situation, but I guess I can't hide it anymore from my friends; they're family after all.

"I'm s-sorry guys. I re-really meant to tell you e-everything. But I'm not going on a date; at le-least not yet." I sighed, my excitement deflating as I remembered what happened yesterday.

"What do you mean not yet? What are you waiting for?!? You saw her already and you're not trying to fix things???" Jimin asked.

"I wa-want to..." I bit my lip and looked at them nervously. "But she can't re-remember me." I added.

The look on their faces was shocked, confused, and sad at the same time.

"What do you mean? She's your girlfriend! How could she not remember?! What the fuck?!" Jimin already stood up from his seat and walked towards me, grabing me by my collar. "Is this a joke?! 'Cause it ain't funny!" He says.

"Enough!" Jin hyung stood up and sighed. He came in then separate us to avoid a fight from happening. "Taehyung isn't lying. Loriel doesn't know him; at least that's what he heard her say. But he isn't giving up that's why he's trying to let her remember by pursuing her again." Jin hyung explained. Jimin seemed baffled at the news so he visibly relaxed and looked at me and apologized.

"Hyung, but how will you do it?" Kookie asked, seemingly worried. I ruffled his hair and smiled slightly.

"Simple. I'll wi-win her back." I answered. "If she can't re-remember, I'll he-help her remember with time." I added. I fixed my clothes stood straight.

"I promise to get her back. Ju-Just trust me on th-this, okay?" I told them. They looked at each other and nodded.

"Wait we only have a few days left before we go back to Korea! How long will you be staying here?!" Hobi hyung asked.

"I already t-told Jin h-hyung. He allowed me to s-stay as long as I wanted just so I co-could get Loriel back." I assured them.

"Well if you ain't leaving, then we'll saty here too for a little longer so we could help you." Jimin stated.

"B-But--"

"But what? Oh hell no! I ain't leaving without my best friend. So, no Tae! I ain't leaving and that is final!" He added, arms crossed as if he's a stubborn kid not budging unless given a candy.

"Well, that's it I guess! I ain't leaving too." Hobi hyung grinned.

"Me too hyungie! We'll be here to support you!" Kookie smiled.

I shook my head in disbelief, but I guess I can't change their minds. My heart swelled knowing I have them to support me in whatever I do. I guess the heavens really gave me a bunch of stubborn, yet lovable friends. "Thanks guys, really." I said to them with all sincerity.

"Tae... Your stutters--" Hobi hyung muttered, showing a surprised expression.

"Hehe yeah. It's not he-healed yet, but I'm trying my best to fi-fix it for Loriel." I grinned.

"AWWW!!!" Kookie gushed. "I'm so happy for you hyungie!" I muttered him a 'thank you'.

"Now go! You disrespected your cousin by throwing him out of the bathroom, because you're too excited to see her! Don't hold back and go already!" Jin hyung said to me, making that 'shooing' gesture. I laughed and nodded. I waved them good bye and was thrown out of the room with a series of good luck from them.

I patted my clothes and started walking to see her again.

~Time skip~

I found myself at the park again and walked straight to the bench where Loriel was seated yesterday. I looked around to see if she's here but I guess it's too early still, because only a few people are here at the park.

Minutes turned into hours, yet I'm still here at the park; hopeful that I'll get the chance to see her again.

I can't keep still at my seat and looked for her figure with my sweating clasped hands. I really wish to see her, but instead I saw a familiar white cat. Her eyes looked straight at me and suddenly it walked closer.

I put my palm out and put a friendly smile on my face, encouraging her to come to me, and she did. She placed her cute head on my palm and purred. I giggled at how cute she was and patted her softly.

She then pulled away and looked at a certain direction. I tried to see where she was looking, but I only saw a bunch of trees. I wonder what's she's looking at.

The cat suddenly tugged at my pants making me confused. "Hey there. What do you want me to do?" I asked. She then keep looking at me then at the place with a bunch of trees. Wait. Is she asking me to follow her?

"Do you wa-want me to fo-follow you?" I asked a bit hesitant. I was shocked when she looked at me and nodded. WHAT THE HECK? She can understand me??

She then ran towards that direction and I stood on my feet and followed in pursuit. Something tells me that I should follow this strange cat.

When a tree came into view I saw a bit of cloth peeking from behind it and the cat suddenly pulled on it making a girl shriek. A voice very familiar to me.

"Hey! No! Stop it kitty! Leave me alone!" The girl tried to pull the end of her clothes from the cat's mouth, but the cat didn't stop and pulled on it harder. "I said no!"

I walked closer and made myself be seen by her line of vision. True enough, it was her.

"Loriel?" I asked softly.

She stiffened a bit and looked up to face me. Saying something that left me a bit shocked.

"HOLY SHIT!"
