Chapter 1

Jade P.O.V
"Don't be late baby" my mom said before leaving the house to go to work. Today was my first day at a new school I was pretty nervous cause I'm gonna be all alone a new girl in a new school,new environment, and new people.My mom would bring me to school if she didn't have such a tight schedule and I didn't wanna bother her anyway.Well I guess it's time to make my way to the bus stop I said looking at my phone to check the time.

I stood at the bus stop corner with the kids that went to this new school. Some people gave me mean looks and some just looked on as the whispered things to each other.Im not gonna lie I felt uncomfortable but there was nothing I could really do. more and more thoughts came to my head the bus pulled up.I waited for everyone to get in the bus so I could go in after so I wouldn't hold everyone up when I had to give the bus driver my bus pass.

"Well you must be new" a old middle aged white women said to me while smiling at me. She read my bus pass then said "nice to meet you jade I'm ms.webbly" the lady said it's nice to meet you ms.webbly too I replied before going to my seat. I walked down the bus to find any seats but I couldn't really find any but one and it was some girl who was sleep with her book bag on the chair. I tapped her causing to jump up out her sleep "Sorry can I sit here" she nodded and moved her bag sitting it in her lap.

"You new here" she asked "yah" I replied. She nodded her head then she went back to sleep laying her head on her bag. She was a cool I feel like we could become friends or sum I said to myself in my head.

The bus made a stop and everyone started getting off. "hey we're at the school" I said tapping the girl next to me "oh thx" she said getting up.As I was leaving the bus the bus driver grabbed my arm and said "don't let these kids run over you and don't let them mess with you" okay I nodded as I left the bus.

The school didn't look to bad it looked nice but everyone looked like they had there friend groups Settled in.I hurried and made my way into the school cause I felt as if everyone was staring at me. I couldn't find the office and I wanted to ask somebody where it was but I didn't know anybody.I
tried looking around but I was lost then the bell rang. I continued walking around the school cause I was too scared to ask anyone and at this point the hallways were empty with a few kids still going to class.

I made my way to a end of a hallway where it looked like there were no classes. I seen two boys at the end of the hallways and one of them exchanged a baggy full of a white substance to other one who had handed him the money.The boys both whispered something to each other and one ran a different direction while the other one ran towards me and a bitch used to do track so I was outta there. The boy was fast cause I could still hear his sneakers hitting the floor behind me and right when I was gonna turn the corner I bumped into somebody.

My bad I am so sorry I said looking up to notice it was a school security. "Where are you going and why you running in the hallways he asked" oh um sorry I was trying to find the office I was lost and I'm new here I said handing him a paper and looking back to see if the boy who was chasing me was still there but he was gone. "Follow me" the security said okay I replied nodding my head following behind him.

Ms.jackson this young lady is new here she needs  her schedule he said handing the paper to the lady in the front desk. "Okay I got her you can go" she told the security guard he nodded his head and left.Okay suga let me get your schedule and I'll take you right there. Okay I nodded.

"Alrighty let's go to your first period" she said getting up from her desk. We left the office as I followed behind her.We made it to the class and before opening the door she told me if I ever needed anything I could find her in the office.She opened the door and handed me my schedule telling the teacher I was new. The teacher and I talked for a while and then told me to sit in the back next to some boy so I did. He looked a lil familiar but he paid no mind to me unlike everyone else staring me down. "Everyone this is jade she is a new student here be kind and if she needs help please help her out" the teacher said causing more people to stare at me.
