Raman was a 14 year old boy living in Kerala. He had his winter vacations so he passed most of his time strolling outside and playing with his friends. That day was very cold and the atmosphere was moist and gloomy.Raman was sleepy but sat looking out of the window waiting for his father to return home.As he gazed at the window he noticed the hut in front of his house. He had never payed attention there. The hut was small and rusty with a broken door and hay on the roof. There was a veranda but no flowers or grass to highlight its beauty.Raman was pondering upon who lived there when the broken door smashed open. A chill went down his spine. He mustered courage and looked out of the window again. Amidst the fog he noticed something that looked like a glowing red eye at the door. It looked mysterious. Raman was half inclined to shut the window and go back but, he did not. Instead he got out of his house and walked hesitantly towards the the hut, a trickle of sweat rolled down his neck into his shirt .As he went closer he realised that it was a glowing red eye that was floating in the air. Raman found this very funny and burst out laughing. Suddenly the glowing red eye opened and shot a look at him. Now,Raman flabagasted and tried to run back home. He could not as some invisible force was holding him back. He called for his mother many a times but she could not hear him. As he was struggling to get out of the trap he received a huge splash of water on his face. He had fallen asleep while waiting for his father and had been dreaming all this while!!!!.
